Process Intensification II

Co-chair(s)

Aydin, B., Delft University of Technology

Process Intensification involves technologies that replace large, expensive, energy-intensive equipment or processes with ones that are smaller, less costly, and more efficient. Process intensification also carries a strong implication of lower inventories and less usage of hazardous and non-renewable materials in manufacturing compared with the standard. Papers on Reaction and Separation, Novel Reactors, Bioprocessing, and materials with a lind to Process Intensification are welcome in this session. Papers will be featured in this session, or in Process Intensification I.
