Dear members,
Our annual election is to take place in May and the results need to be finalized by the end of May. Per the bylaws, the candidates are based on nominees from a nominating committee. Our nominating committee is everyone in the chapter. Our leadership consists of the following five positions:
(1) Past Chair,
(2) Chair,
(3) Vice-Chair,
(4) Treasurer, and
(5) Secretary
Our current chair, Kent Grove, will be moving into the Past Chair position. Christina Jackson aims to transition from Vice-Chair to the Chair position. Mark Vaccari, our Treasurer, and I, our Secretary, are willing to stay in our current positions and will run if there is agreement from the membership. This leaves a vacancy in our Vice-Chair position that will need to be filled. Please respond if you disagree with any of these transitions, would like to run against any of our incumbents, or would like to fill the Vice-Chair position.
