Shankar Vaidyanathan is Technical Director of Process Technology & Engineering for Fluor in Sugar Land, TX. He works in the Downstream business line in the Fluor Energy & Chemicals division. He provides technology support and subject matter expert consultation for clean fuels, hydrocracking and heavy oil upgrading projects from the conceptual feasibility planning stage to design and engineering. He has experience in designing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia. Before joining Fluor, he worked for Chevron Lummus Global, Lummus Technology Division and Engineers India Limited. Mr. Vaidyanathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Annamalai University, India and has over twenty years of professional experience.
