Bob Loughney has over 40 years of experience working in the refining, petrochemical and production industry. As a chemical engineer with an MBA, Bob understands the technical knowledge of process engineering as well as operations efficiency and expanding business markets. Bob spent over 30 years with Shell Oil Company in a number of different roles as a process design engineer, business manager and director of strategic studies. Both nationally and internationally, Bob consults and lectures to companies and graduate level courses on Process Engineering and maximizing the hydrocarbon value chain.
Bob’s strengths are integrating the technological processing complexities and field experience with sound business decisions. He brings his years of experience to conduct independent feasibility studies, analyze technologies, act as the owner’s engineer, optimize operations, improve safety, and assist during commissioning and training. Bob also utilizes his background for expert analysis and testimony.
