Dr. Harrison Rose joins us from Merck in Rahway, NJ, where he is a senior scientist in their R&D organization, Merck Research Laboratories. For the last five years, he has been contributing to process development and scaleup for small-molecule pharmaceutical active ingredients. Harrison also supports sustainability across the pharmaceutical industry, through his work helping to curate the Streamlined Process Mass Intensity and Lifecycle Assessment calculator shared among members of the ACS Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable.
