In addition to developing, launching, and managing his latest venture, Opulus Beauty Labs, Dr. Robb has had a diverse and exciting career. Dr. Robb was co-founder of Clarisonic, where he helped develop technologically advanced and clinically proven sonic devices that make a clear difference in skin health and appearance. Dr. Robb held several positions at Clarisonic, initially as Vice President of Clinical Research and later as Global Brand President. Additionally, Dr. Robb was the Clarisonic global brand representative, meeting with international partners, customers, and journalists.
As a Texan, Dr. Robb obtained his BS from the University of Texas (Austin), MS in Biology (Botany/Mycology) from Texas State, and his Ph.D. in Microbiology (Immunology and Infectious Disease) from Texas A&M. In total, he has spent over 25 years in medical and global health, with over ten years spent on HIV/AIDS research. His career also includes scientist and clinical trial management positions at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, ICOS Corporation, and Sonicare®. In addition, Robb is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology as an Adjunct Research Member. He is also a board member of the Independent Beauty Association.
