Eduardo D. Glandt

Dr. Eduardo D. Glandt retired his post in June 2015 as Nemirovsky Family Dean, School of Engineering and Applied Science, and Professor Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, at the University of Pennsylvania. This comes after a tremendous, storied career that has lasted over four decades and has impacted many individuals across the field of chemical engineering.

He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Chemical Society, and the American Physical Society. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1968 and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977.
