Sujata Bhatia is an engineer, physician, and Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware.
Jonathan Galarraga is a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing research in bioengineering, and working to bring innovative new biotechnologies to market.
Nick Martin is the STEM Program Manager for Americorps VISTA, and Board Vice President of Fouryouth Productions, where he is leveraging his engineering training to do some pioneering work in the education and nonprofit space.
In the podcast, Sujata, Jonathan, and Nick discuss their career paths and the importance of mentorship in their own advancement, what engineering programs are currently doing to help students capture innovative news ways of thinking about chemical engineering and where they need to improve, and what role the chemical engineering community at large needs to play in advancing and promoting new ways of thinking about the profession.
