Daniel Crowl, Andre Da Costa, and Teressa Szelest: Doing a World of Good

Dr. Daniel Crowl is the unofficial father of modern process safety and the author of many of AIChE's foundational texts on the subject, professor emeritus at Michigan Tech, and current adjunct professor of chemical engineering at the University of Utah.
Dr. Andre Da Costa is the Herbert H Dow Chair in Chemical Process Safety at Michigan Tech, the former Director of Process Safety at Pacific Gas & Electric, and a long-time AIChE supporter.
Ms. Teressa Szelest is the President of Market and Business Development at BASF Corporation, a company which is a Founders’ Circle Supporter of the Doing A World of Good campaign, with a gift toward the Undergraduate Process Safety Learning Initiative.
In the podcast, Daniel, Andre, and Teressa discuss the history of process safety, turning points or catalysts that have changed its course and how these moments have reshaped chemical engineering and the businesses they serve.
