Lawrence N Kremer is Senior Technology Advisor at Baker Hughes responsible for future technologies such as CO2 management, bio fuels, and new market areas.    In his 28 years at Baker Petrolite he has also worked in the areas of support for process aids, water treatment, power plant additives, and fuel additives.  Current activities include processing of shale oil and difficult crude oils, fireside additives, alternative fuels, and solving problems with sludge in storage tanks.

Larry has a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Texas and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Utah.  He was a Visiting Fellow at the Nuclear Physics Institute in Amsterdam, Netherlands and a Post Doctoral Fellow at Yale University.

Larry is a member of the ACS (American chemical Society), AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science), NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers), and AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers).  Larry Kremer was a panelist at the 2001 NPRA Q&A Conference and is on the Q&A Selection Committee.
