Cherie is the Technology Development Manager for Hatch Pty Ltd in Australia. She provides advice and support on developing technologies and fostering innovation for Hatch both independently, and in partnership with external organizations. Cherie holds a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Hydrometallurgy from Murdoch University. She is a registered Australian Patent and Trade Marks Attorney, having completed a Masters of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Melbourne. She practiced as a patent attorney for over 5 years prior to rejoining the resources sector, where she has also managed R&D and Intellectual Property in a commercial environment. Cherie is passionate about assisting companies in their drive for innovation through all levels of the organization, from the initial idea through to commercialization.
