Yuanyuan Zhang is a Senior Engineer Leader at the Sinopec Shengli CCS Project. She is in charge of research on environmental monitoring and environmental impact assessment for carbon capture, pipeline transportation, EOR and storage.
Her research specifically focuses on: nitrosamine dispersion and health risk assessment for carbon capture; on CO2 monitoring during pipeline leakage; and on surface environmental monitoring for determination of CO2 leakage, such as air, soil gas, underground water, vegetation and ground deformation for the EOR and storage part. In addition, she investigates on public acceptance.
