Capture Manager
CO2CRC

Paul Webley is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Clean Energy Laboratory at The University of Melbourne.  He is manager of the Carbon Capture Program for the CO2CRC and Director (commencing 2016) of the Peter Cook Centre for Carbon Capture and Storage at The University of Melbourne. Paul has worked in development of carbon capture technologies for the past 15 years. His principal research interest is adsorption science and engineering spanning the range from nano-adsorbent synthesis, characterisation and testing, through to adsorption process design and implementation. Recently he has developed adsorbents and adsorption processes for CO2 capture from flue gas and process streams and tested field units for CO2 capture. Professor Webley is the author of more than 200 papers in scientific journals and books, and author of more than 100 contributions to international and national conferences.  Professor Webley holds degrees in Chemical Engineering (PhD and Masters) from MIT in 1990.
