As editor of POWER, the longest continuously published trade magazine for the global power generation industry, Dr. Reitenbach is responsible for brand content strategy and managing production of the monthly magazine, website (powermag.com), enewsletters, and affiliated events. Prior to becoming editor in 2013, she was managing editor of POWER for nearly a dozen years.

Before joining the POWER team, she was senior editor at E Source, an energy information services company largely focused on utilities and large electricity customers.

While working for the University of Colorado at Boulder, Dr. Reitenbach provided writing, editing, and marketing consulting services to a wide range of clients across the four-campus CU system, from the president’s office to research institutes. She has also been a faculty member at the University of Wyoming, where she held three consecutive positions as visiting associate professor, teaching American literature and composition.

Dr. Reitenbach has provided a variety of editorial and marketing consulting services over the years to a wide range of clients, including publishers, banks, educational institutions, and corporations.

Born and raised in Canada, she earned a BA from St. Olaf College and a PhD in English from Boston College. She currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
