Bruce is a senior manager at the UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Centre (www.ukccsrc.ac.uk) with over 20 years experience of executing R&D projects and programmes. Prior to joining academe Bruce was Manager Environment and Climate Change Strategy at Tata Steel Europe where he worked on decarbonisation roadmaps for both Tata and the wider European steel industry, and was integrally involved with the ULCOS programme. In previous roles Bruce has also managed teams responsible for emissions monitoring, reporting and trading, as well as improvements in manufacturing energy efficiency. He holds an MBA from Warwick University and a doctorate in physics.
