A Chat with 2019 WISE Interns Bradie Crandall and Cameron Hong

This year AIChE sent Bradie Crandall (University of South Carolina) and Cameron Hong (Bucknell University) to Washington for the WISE (Washington Internships for Students in Engineering) program. Each year, the WISE interns research public policy issues and contribute to discussions on how engineers impact society.

As part of the program, interns present their findings at the AIChE Annual Meeting. This year, John Weidner, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati, sat down with Bradie and Cameron to discuss their projects.

The interns’ research was published online in the September 2019 edition of the WISE Journal of Engineering and Public Policy, available here.

You can also watch interviews of the 2018, 2017201620152014, and 2013 interns.
