Kimberly Wilson is the founder of Talent Link Resources Search, LLC (known as TLR Search), an executive and professional technical recruitment firm that helps companies hire talent that aligns perfectly with culture first, attributes second and skills needed to be successful in the role.  Helping companies create value, incorporate diversity of thought and bring in raving “fans” or employees that enjoy the challenge of their work.  She is a highly skilled talent acquisition specialist and executive recruiter with 20 years of experience starting out as a generalist recruiting in technology, manufacturing, logistics and retail. She is currently working in the fields of energy, chemicals and industrial products. What distinguishes her from others in her field of expertise is that she has always been interested in people’s success and went to school to receive a degree in psychology from Northern Illinois University with additional studies in sociology and a certificate from Cornell in Strategic Human Resources.  She is proud to say that many of her placements have been promoted within two to three years after they join the client company and individuals typically stay for five or more years.  While working on searches globally, Kimberly is determined to create value for her client’s and candidates by appreciating the diverse nature of individual’s viewpoints toward their career and bringing people and companies together in a win-win manner.

Based in Houston, TX, Kimberly has volunteered over the years as a Girl Scout Leader for 11 years, a board member of Women’s Energy Network and President in 2013, honored Life Time member of GHP and current Pink Petro Advisory Board member.  Before devoting her work full time to TLR Search, Kimberly was Vice President at Maxwell Drummond and prior worked for large public companies as well smaller private companies:  Heidrick & Struggles, Korn/Ferry Futurestep, Eclipse Group and DHR International. She started her career in retail at Toys R Us in operations management. She found her passion for recruitment after working with Circuit City when they opened the Chicago market and from her dad who had been a managing partner at a recruitment firm.
