P420 Series plastic, vortex-shedding flowrate transmitters

P420 Series plastic, vortex-shedding flowrate transmitters have no moving parts that can stick, bind, or become coated. They can handle fluids with viscosities to 4.5 cP or 50 SUS. In certain models, wetted parts are constructed entirely of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or chlorinated PVC (CPVC) for improved heat resistance.

Instrumentation Fittings

These double-ferrule instrumentation-grade tube fittings provide leakproof and torque-free seals at tubing connections. This reduces the likelihood of hazardous and expensive leaks in instrumentation, process, pneumatic, hydraulic, gas and other tubing systems. The solid leak-free joint is formed as a five-piece connection comprised of the nut, the back ferrule, the front ferrule, the body and the tubing. The ferrules are tightly swaged around the tube, and the lack of initial strain on the tubing ensures against tubing wall damage.

Wafer-Cone flowmeter

The Wafer-Cone flowmeter features a modular design that allows users to replace the flow element in order to adapt the device to changing flow conditions in dynamic processes. It uses differential pressure technology with built-in flow conditioning to achieve an accuracy of ±0.5% and a repeatability of ±0.1%. The pressure difference between the static line pressure and the low pressure downstream at the cone is measured via two pressure-sensing taps, and is then used with a derivation of the Bernoulli equation to calculate the fluid flowrate.

P420 series vortex-shedding flowmeters

P420 series vortex-shedding flowmeters are inexpensive, nonmechanical flowrate transmitters with no moving parts that can stick, bind or become coated when processing corrosive fluids. They meet the requirements of the chemical, water treatment and water desalination industries, and are suitable for corrosives, water, brine and low-viscosity-fluid applications. The instruments feature wetted parts constructed entirely of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

HC-ES rotary airlock valves

HC-ES rotary airlock valves have a patented end-seal design that achieves up to a 50% reduction in gas leakage. The valves have a shrouded, end-scalloped stainless steel bottom rotor, with adjustable/replaceable Type 304L stainless steel tips. Other features include tungsten carbide-coated housing bores, a pocket purge located in the end plate, a motion sensor, an exterior valve housing, and end plates complete with a 60 psi dimpled steam jacket and a 30-in. by 60-in. inlet with baffle.

Model 4192 bag filler

The Model 4192 twin-auger open-mouth bag filler provides higher output rates while maintaining exceptional product control and weighing accuracy. Filling rates of 7–10 (50-lb) bags per min and accuracies of ± 0.2 lb can be achieved, depending upon product characteristics. This filler provides bulk and dribble feed through programmable logic controller (PLC) variable-frequency drive (VFD) control of the augers for improved productivity when handling a wide range of materials, from very fine and aerated to sticky, hard-to-feed product.

CoriMix CM 5

The CoriMix CM 5 is a high-speed continuous mixer for large-throughput applications. It is designed for the homogeneous intermixing of liquid or pasty components into dry carrier materials. When small quantities of liquid are added, the final mixture produced in this machine is free of agglomeration. If large quantities of liquid are added, a uniform granulated structure is obtained. This mixer has several exchangeable wear protection shells for its interior, as well as different types of mixing shafts, all of which have been optimized for various applications.

OptimaBlend mixer

With its high-efficiency design, OptimaBlend mixing technology is suitable for manual and automated systems. Fluidization in the process assures mixes are homogenous without regard to particle size, shape or density. Typical performance times are 30–60 s per mix. The mixer offers up to ten times increased production capacity compared with standard ribbon blender mixers. Its low-shear design ensures that internal friction from operating the mixer generates minimal heat and that the system is gentle enough to handle fragile ingredients.

SXE vibratory screeners

SXE vibratory screeners separate both wet and dry difficult-to-screen materials. They are suitable for classifying materials sized between 20 µm and 500 µm. The screeners are available with a single- or double-deck design, with diameters of 2 ft, 3 ft, or 4 ft. They operate in multi-frequency vibratory-impact modes. These screeners provide uninterrupted self-cleaning of meshes, fluidization of powder, and de-agglomeration of powder clusters.

Turbo-Classifier

The Turbo-Classifier is a forced vortex submicron air classifier for powder cut in the range of 0.5 µm to 100 µm. Employing a high-speed rotor with a high air flowrate, it is suitable for use on dense material, such as iron, nickel, and ceramics, yielding product that is uniformly smaller than 1.5 µm.
