Noel Sutton
Noel Sutton obtained his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1979. He moved from Seattle to Grand Rapids, MI to begin his career with Amway Corp., overseeing a variety of capital installation projects in his role as a process design engineer. In 1984 he joined Helene Curtis, Inc. as a process development engineer.
He developed a number of new hair care and anti-perspirant/deodorant products for several well-known consumer brands including Finesse, Suave, Salon Selectives and Degree. While living in Chicago, he received a Masters in Engineering Management from Northwestern University. In 1991, he rejoined Amway Corp. as a process development engineer. In this capacity, he’s scaled up a wide range of skin care, personal care, nutrition, and home care products over the past 20 years. Besides being an AIChE member, he loves traveling, volunteers as a reading tutor and is a passionate tennis player.
