Applying what you've learned to solve problems outside the classroom
Luay Ahmed is the student chapter president at Miami University. His student chapter was awarded first place in last year's ACE4G (AIChE Chemical Engineering for Good) Challenge for their project "Continuous Flow Solar Sterilization Module for a Water Treatment Plant in Kabingo, Uganda." He asks his fellow students if they've had an opportunity to apply what they've learned in school to solve problems outside the classroom.
