Dr. Gintaras V. (Rex) Reklaitis, the Burton and Kathryn Gedge Distinguished Professor at Purdue University, presented this year’s John M. Prausnitz AIChE Institute Lecture entitled “Process Systems Engineering Contributions to Pharmaceuticals,” on Wednesday, November 1 in Minneapolis. Long-time colleague Dr. Rakesh Agrawal, the Winthrop E. Stone Distinguished Professor at Purdue University, interviewed Rex about his research, which you can see in the video panel above.
AIChE also honored both Dr. Reklaitis and Dr. Agrawal with the 2017 Warren K. Lewis award and Alpha Chi Sigma Award for Chemical Engineering Research, respectively. See photos of them accepting their awards.
