Interview with Michael Betenbaugh, Winner of 2017 D.I.C. Wang Award

AIChE’s Lucy Alexander sat down with 2017 D.I.C. Wang Award winner Michael Betenbaugh to discuss the ways his career has been influenced by “Danny” Wang and what winning this prestigious award means for him.

Betenbaugh is a professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He was presented the D.I.C. Wang Award for Excellence in Biochemical Engineering at the 253rd ACS National Meeting in San Francisco on April 5, 2017, where he delivered his award lecture titled “Following the Advice of Daniel Wang: Improving Quality Through Cell Culture Engineering.”
