YP ChEnectees of AIChE Spring - Meet Alireza Banimostafa

Welcome to our second interview in the YP ChEnectees of AIChE Spring 2010 series. AIChE is an organization that is headquartered in the U.S. but also one that reaches many different parts of the world. During the first day of AIChE's Spring meeting in San Antonio, I caught up with one of its YP members--Alireza Banimostafa, from Iran. Ali is currently a Ph.D. student in the Safety and Environmental Technology Group, which is part of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. There he studies sustainability metrics with respect to process design. In essence, he develops models in the early stages of process design that take into account environment, health, safety, and and energy. You can connect with him via e-mail or LinkedIn.
