Judith Lesslie is a process and personal safety professional with more than 40 years of experience in the petrochemicals industry, including health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) leadership, process safety and instrument engineering, project management, safety instrumented systems (SIS) development and implementation, and maintenance.

Judy has a wide spectrum of process and personal safety experience, including process hazard analysis; behavioral safety; metrics analysis and action plan development; development and management of industrial safety programs; industrial hygiene; auditing against company and regulatory program requirements; incident investigations; risk assessment; management of change; SIS design, implementation, and management; consequence modeling; auditing; driving compliance with OSHA regulations; and process data analysis.

Her key roles and responsibilities have included: HSSE leadership; HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and dust hazard (DHA) facilitation; auditing, including checking compliance with the Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) standards; driving improvements to plant compliance activities, industrial hygiene practices, and industrial safety requirements; and training in basic and advanced process safety topics.

Judy is also a Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP). In Judy’s current role with aeSolutions, she provides facilitation, auditing, consultation, and other process safety services for a variety of industrial clients.
