CHEMFAB XPS

CHEMFAB XPS is a patent-pending line of coated fabrics that uses a specialty resin blend to provide excellent release properties and chemical resistance. The coating improves tear and crease resistance, flex fatigue resistance, and comformability. These fabrics are suitable for use as release sheets and conveyor belting in textile, chemical and industrial processing, packaging, composite molding and many other industries.

Solus 2300 performance additives

Solus 2300 performance additives are designed to be mixed into high-solids, low-VOC (volatile organic compound) coatings. Suitable for use by original equipment manufacturers in solvent-borne basecoats, the additives are specifically engineered to improve performance and aesthetics while boosting productivity with higher solids levels and shorter dry-to-touch time.

KER line of silicone die-bond materials

The KER line of silicone die-bond materials provides excellent encapsulating performance for high-brightness light emitting diodes (HBLEDs). Comprised of three key single-component, heat-cured products, the diverse series covers a broad spectrum of silicone polymer chemistry and structural composition. This makes the products particularly useful for numerous demanding HBLED packaging applications. The KER series is available in clear, opaque, and white thin-bond-line versions to minimize light absorption and maximize heat dissipation.

Loctite head-bolt and water-jacket sealant

Loctite head-bolt and water-jacket sealant is a black anaerobic paste that is made for threaded fasteners, such as head bolts that penetrate into water or chemical jackets. It lubricates threads and ensures consistent torque during assembly, and it seals and locks bolts to prevent premature loosening. It also acts as an anti-seize agent, eliminating corrosion and facilitating bolt removal. It is suitable for 0.5–0.75-in.-dia. bolts with long engagement areas, such as those found on pumps, boilers, intake manifolds, thermostats, and other industrial equipment.

EP46HT-1

EP46HT-1 is an electrical insulator that has excellent adhesion to metals, glass, vulcanized rubber, and most plastics, and offers excellent physical strength and chemical resistance. It is easy to apply and cures rapidly at elevated temperatures. It can tolerate a constant temperature up to 550°F, and intermittent exposures of up to 600°F, including severe and repeated thermal cycling. It is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents.

Ingeo 6201D

Ingeo 6201D is a high-viscosity bioresin designed for the production of meltdown nonwovens, which are widely used in wipes and filters. It is made from renewable resources and has a lower carbon footprint than comparable existing petroleum-based products, offering an estimated 30–50% cost savings over conventional fiber-based nonwoven roll goods.

Custom Sapphire Optics

These custom sapphire optics are precision-manufactured in a wide range of configurations with holes, slots, wedges, stepped edges, special coatings, and other characteristics. They feature a Mohs hardness of 9, which is second only to diamond in hardness. They are chemically inert and can be fabricated to precise specifications as lenses, windows, domes, prisms, tubes, rods, and balls, and can be supplied ready for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) assembly. They are available as plano-convex and -concave lenses and windows from 0.5-in. to 6-in.

Custom-Made Plastic Components

Plastic components such as seals, shims, vents, and cushions are cut using die-less digital equipment to produce parts with ±0.005 in. precision and narrow cross-sections. The tiny smooth-edged parts typically measure less than 1 in.2 and can have intricate shapes with precise details and hole spacing to ±0.003 in. They can be made from FDA-approved silicones, as well as engineered plastics, composites, microporous plastics, membranes, foams, and felt, and can be supplied with or without adhesive backings.

CEILCOTE 600HB Flakeline

The CEILCOTE 600HB Flakeline is a two-component, high-build, glass-flake-reinforced epoxy system that provides excellent chemical resistance to alkalis, inorganic solids and many aromatic and aliphatic solvents. It is designed to be spray-applied with a single coat, often without a primer, which saves on application costs and provides considerable labor and time savings. The coating eliminates the potential for intercoat adhesion problems, which can occur with multiple-coat or trowel-applied systems.

Ultem polyetherimide (PEI) resin-based composites

Ultem polyetherimide (PEI) resin-based composites, foam and fiber materials withstand very demanding and high-heat conditions. These materials can replace metal to achieve weight reduction without sacrificing performance. Ultem composites may be used to make fabric that provides long-term performance, such as for ultra-lightweight aircraft interiors. Ultem fibers provide excellent flame-smoke-toxicity (FST) performance and can be made into flame-retardant fabrics for use in industrial transportation and home furnishings.
