Simulator

The Simulator, an ultrasonic gas-leak simulation tool for ultrasonic gas detection, can be used in challenging conditions, such as those found in most outdoor oil and gas installations. The system responds to the distinctive ultrasound created by a leak, allowing leaks to be detected at the speed of sound without having to wait for the gas to accumulate and enter a conventional point gas detector or open-path gas detector. The acoustic detection method is unaffected by wind conditions, gas dilution, and leak direction.

3E Online MSDS

3E Online MSDS now includes the Revision Alert module, which centralizes the detection and reporting of revisions to the Material Safety Data Sheet management system. It allows users to quickly view exact changes made to any MSDS in a company’s inventory. It provides notification via a weekly e-mail report of key data element revisions, including Chemical Abstract Service registry number (CAS RN) changes, National Fire Protection Association/Hazardous Materials Identification System (NFPA/HMIS) changes, and physical and health hazard modifications.

Insight

Designed for occupational safety professionals who work with aggregate environmental exposure data from multiple measurement instruments, Insight allows data to be downloaded and stored into one package. It maintains a secure database from which information can be analyzed to determine whether action is necessary to reduce exposure in the workplace. The program is capable of generating reports that combine multiple hazards simultaneously, such as noise and dust.

Lab Forms 2.5

Lab Forms 2.5 is a suite of gas chromatography / mass spectrometry (GC/MS) software designed for applications in environmental, clinical research and forensic toxicology, food safety, and general QA/QC laboratories. The suite includes three analysis and reporting software components. QuanLab Forms enables users to perform high-throughput quantitative and semi-quantitative GC/MS experiments. EnviroLab Forms assists environmental laboratories in balancing high productivity and throughput with strict quality-control standards.

ESS Global Partner System

ESS, maker of crisis management and environmental, health and safety (EH&S) software, has entered into a strategic alliance with Atrion International, a provider of product compliance solutions. Their partnership will address product and Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) compliance goals in a more comprehensive and cost-efficient manner than either firm could accomplish on its own.

Essential Suite 7.1

Essential Suite 7.1 is scalable from plant-level to global deployments and includes a comprehensive, fully integrated set of environment, health and safety (EH&S) and crisis-management modules. It leverages critical data, information and best practices from a common database across business enterprises, focusing on five urgent business concerns: greenhouse gases and global climate change, worker health and safety, environmental compliance, emergency planning and response, and corporate social responsibility reporting.

Essential Performance Manager

Essential Performance Manager enables organizations to measure and communicate about how their environmental, health and safety (EH&S) and crisis management programs are operating so decision-makers can manage the business more effectively. The software provides an intuitive and flexible data-collection framework with powerful reporting and analytic tools for tracking key performance indicators, incident data and other metrics in order to drive process improvements.

Municipal Water Package

To ensure the efficient delivery of potable water and the safe disposal of wastewater, municipal water systems have to be monitored and controlled around the clock. The Municipal Water Package allows municipalities to use this operational data to reduce energy and chemical costs. Based on the Proficy products, the package includes HMI/SCADA-iFIX, which provides process visualization, data acquisition and supervisory control.

Deltaflow switchover valves

Deltaflow switchover valves allow customers to use dual relief devices to eliminate process shutdowns. In this way, if a disk on one side of the valve breaks, a reserve disk can be placed into service immediately by actuating the valve. The ruptured disk can then be replaced without shutting down the system.

Series 204 and 304 solenoid valves

Series 204 and 304 solenoid valves are now available with a NEMA 4X integrated coil that has a rotating conduit hub to permit easy installation. The valves include interchangeable AC and DC coils and a tab coil that facilitates flexible production. Both series of valves are available as normally closed or normally open. Orifice sizes range from 1/32 in. to 5/32 in. and the valves have 1/8-in. NPT connections.
