Balston filters

Balston filters can take 99.99% of oil, water, rust and pipescale particles of at least 0.01 µm out of compressed air and other gases. They are constructed of Type 304 stainless steel, which enables them to withstand very harsh environments, such as those in food and beverage, chemicals, refinery, and pulp and paper facilities. They are available in 0.25–1.0-in. line sizes with flow capacities to over 700 std. ft3/min, and are available with automatic drains and a high-efficiency filter cartridge installed.

Self-Cleaning Rotary Drum Screen

This self-cleaning rotary drum screen separates solid debris from wastewater at high rates while using little energy. It contains a rotating cylinder constructed of wedge-wire screen with a stationary blade (called a doctor blade) on the outside of the cylinder and an internal spray line. Effluent from a head box overflows a dam and flows onto the outside of the rotating cylinder.

Plasma Converter System

The Plasma Converter System safely and economically destroys wastes, no matter how hazardous or lethal, and turns them into useful and valuable products. Employing proprietary plasma equipment, the system provides closed-loop elemental recycling to safely and irreversibly destroy municipal solid waste, organics and inorganics, solids, liquids and gases, hazardous and non- hazardous waste.

InPro7250 inductive conductivity sensor

The InPro7250 inductive conductivity sensor is engineered to endure very hazardous conditions while screening for manufacturing seepage. It has a hermetically sealed calculation system and a safeguard for maintaining stable conductivity when performing difficult measurements in industrial wastewater and pulp and paper processes. It consists of two high-precision coils hermetically sealed in a robust and chemically resistant polymer matrix. It is inert to strong mineral acids, inorganic bases, inorganic oxidizing agents, and salt solutions.

Signet 4150 turbidimeter

The Signet 4150 turbidimeter features easy calibration with simple one-unit installation and setup. Its accurate, reliable water-quality monitoring complies with the U.S. EPA 180.1 standard, making it suitable for both municipal and industrial applications. It is available in two models: the 0–100 NTU (nephelometric turbidity units) version, which handles low-range applications such as potable water monitoring, and the 0–1,000 NTU version, which is designed for higher-turbidity applications, including raw water and waste-water monitoring.

X5 gas detector

The X5 gas detector can measure up to five gases simultaneously using advanced electrochemical sensors. This rugged instrument is highly configurable, water-resistant and 50% lighter than competitive portable detectors. Having Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Canadian Underwriters Laboratories (CUL) certifications, the unit is suitable for monitoring indoor air quality, leaking pipes, hazardous spills, underground storage tanks, confined-space entryways, and many other industrial applications.

TS4000 toxic-gas monitoring system

The TS4000 toxic-gas monitoring system guards against exposure to hazardous industrial gases and oxygen deficiency. It has been certified as meeting Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL2) requirements and can be used in applications that require this standard of reliability, including those in the chemical, food-processing, oil and gas, and pulp and paper industries. Inside an explosionproof housing, the system uses a highly intelligent microprocessor-based design with reliable and rugged electrochemical sensors.

The SORB 33 arsenic removal process and Bayoxide E33 ferric oxide media

The SORB 33 arsenic removal process and Bayoxide E33 ferric oxide media work in concert to effectively and economically meet the stringent U.S. government standard of 10 parts per billion (ppb) of maximum arsenic content in water. Bayoxide E33 is a dry, robust media with a high capacity for arsenic, providing long operating cycles and low operating costs. Bayoxide E33 is permitted for use by health and environmental agencies in 18 states.

guide to bag filtration systems

Among the products covered in this guide to bag filtration systems is a new filter element that combines the best of both bag and cartridge filters into a single unit. The brochure provides detailed information on the patent-pending Hayflow filter element, and a cut-away illustration show how the element works in conjunction with the filter housing’s basket. A special section of the guide details advances in bag filter housings, including single-bag and multi-bag housings for high-flowrate applications.

Dust Collectors

Photos and illustrations in this brochure show how this firm’s dust collectors help protect workers from harmful smoke, fumes and other pollutants in plastics, painting, powders and other manufacturing industries. Detailed specifications are provided to enable the engineer to determine the correct configuration for a particular application.
