Arc Flash Safety System

Often triggered when a worker opens a door to access controls, an arc flash explosion can occur when an electrical fault occurs within the confined space of an enclosure — and can cause devastating personal injury and extensive equipment damage. The Arc Flash Safety System isolates workers from energized equipment within the encloure. The Intersafe data-interface ports —programming ports designed to provide data access without opening enclosure doors — are at the heart of the system.

GBK Containment System

The GBK Containment System, an all-in-one contained glove-bag housing, reduces the risk of cross-contamination and shields employees from exposure to harmful chemicals. The operator can easily access replacement filters from zippered feed-in sleeves and then remove spent filter cartridges through a feed-out sleeve using nitrile gloves. Trained personnel can perform a complete filter cartridge change-out in less than two minutes, on average. GBK glove bags are made of antistatic polyurethane with a built-in HEPA filter to prevent condensation.

X-am 2000 portable detector

A lightweight personal monitor, the X-am 2000 tests for up to four gases and vapors, such as oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and a combustible gas. The catalytic EX sensor, calibrated to methane, responds quickly to explosive gases and offers a high level of sensitivity to combustible organic vapors. It provides three types of warnings: an audible multi-tone alarm, a visual 180-degree alarm, and a vibrating alarm. Gas inlets on two surfaces allow for measurements even when it is accidently worn improperly.

Bond-Rite Remote monitoring module and grounding clamp system

With its flashing LED display, the intrinsically safe Bond-Rite Remote monitoring module and grounding clamp system continually verifies that a low-resistance connection to ground is maintained in areas where potentially flammable materials are stored, handled or transferred. Various clamp designs and cables are available so the system can be used with all common types of conductive plant equipment, including drums, containers, totes, mixing stations, filling and dispensing equipment, tanker trucks, railcars, etc.

HazardWatch Integrated Fire and Gas Detection System

A modular system that combines a programmable logic controller (PLC) platform with advanced gas and flame field devices, the HazardWatch Integrated Fire and Gas Detection System is scalable to 13 local gas and fire alarm panels operating over a network up to 25 km in length. The controller, hardware configuration and software have been tested and certified by Factory Mutual (FM) to verify NFPA 72 compliance, including certification for central station monitoring as both a fire alarm panel and a gas controller, for fault-tolerant digital communications, and as a releasing control panel.

Dust Collectors

This CD contains a comprehensive electronic catalog of dust, mist and fume collection equipment. It includes product literature, technical data, application guidelines, photos and drawings, as well as PowerPoint presentations, for key products. A library of technical papers and case studies on dust collection topics is also included.

Dust Collectors

Photos and illustrations in this brochure show how this firm’s dust collectors help protect workers from harmful smoke, fumes and other pollutants in plastics, painting, powders and other manufacturing industries. Detailed specifications are provided to enable the engineer to determine the correct configuration for a particular application.

guide to bag filtration systems

Among the products covered in this guide to bag filtration systems is a new filter element that combines the best of both bag and cartridge filters into a single unit. The brochure provides detailed information on the patent-pending Hayflow filter element, and a cut-away illustration show how the element works in conjunction with the filter housing’s basket. A special section of the guide details advances in bag filter housings, including single-bag and multi-bag housings for high-flowrate applications.

The SORB 33 arsenic removal process and Bayoxide E33 ferric oxide media

The SORB 33 arsenic removal process and Bayoxide E33 ferric oxide media work in concert to effectively and economically meet the stringent U.S. government standard of 10 parts per billion (ppb) of maximum arsenic content in water. Bayoxide E33 is a dry, robust media with a high capacity for arsenic, providing long operating cycles and low operating costs. Bayoxide E33 is permitted for use by health and environmental agencies in 18 states.

TS4000 toxic-gas monitoring system

The TS4000 toxic-gas monitoring system guards against exposure to hazardous industrial gases and oxygen deficiency. It has been certified as meeting Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL2) requirements and can be used in applications that require this standard of reliability, including those in the chemical, food-processing, oil and gas, and pulp and paper industries. Inside an explosionproof housing, the system uses a highly intelligent microprocessor-based design with reliable and rugged electrochemical sensors.
