SmartCET corrosion transmitters

The SmartCET corrosion transmitters are now ATEX-certified and can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres in the European Union. Integrated with the firm’s Experion Process Knowledge System, SmartCET provides online, real-time data that measure the corrosion rate in mm/yr and detects the presence of localizing corrosion conditions. Other SmartCET parameters can be used for further online corrosion diagnostic analysis and for improved accuracy of corrosion rate data. This results in increased plant uptime, reduced maintenance costs, maximized production throughput and improved safety.

M2 Series smart manometer

Contained in a 6.5-in. × 3.6-in. × 2.25-in. polycarbonate enclosure with permanently static dissipative ESD protection, the M2 Series smart manometer is ideal for field applications and has the accuracy to serve as a pressure reference standard. It offers 11 selectable user units, as well as expanded ranges to handle gauge, differential, absolute or vacuum pressure. The manometer also comes with a min/max feature to capture extremes of varying pressure signals, and 1-point or 5 -point field recalibration for zero, span and linearity.

SmartPress Model LP-D pressure/liquid-level transmitters

The two-wire, loop-powered SmartPress Model LP-D pressure/liquid-level transmitters feature simple push-button programming, making them easy to install and set up. They can also be supplied pre-calibrated at no additional charge. The transmitters have Type 316 stainless-steel flush diaphragms and a variety of process connections, including 1-in. NPT and several Triclamp sizes. The flush diaphragm helps prevent buildup of the process material and allows clean-in-place (CIP) cleanup as required in food and beverage production, as well as pharmaceutical processing.

Tox-Array 2100 RS485/4–20-mA three- and four-wire smart transmitter

The Tox-Array 2100 RS485/4–20-mA three- and four-wire smart transmitter features the firm’s patented no-false-alarm sensor technology for gas detection. The self-calibrating device makes monthly span adjustments based on its life curve. It also offers automatic gas calibration in two minutes, plus non-intrusive, hands-free and magnetic switches.

Easidew two-wire transmitter

The improved Easidew two-wire transmitter is a low-cost, rugged dewpoint transmitter for continuous measurement in compressed air or process gas. The transmitter now has the ability to be connected in a two-wire, loop-powered configuration, while maintaining complete backward compatibility with all existing three-wire installations. It also offers an output that is configurable in ppmv moisture content (0–100, 0–1,000 and 0–3000 ppmv ranges).

Sensors and Instruments

More than 70 industrial applications where the company’s sensors and instruments are used for liquid analysis are featured on these five audio CDs, which are organized according to industries with similar measurements and applications: chemical and petro-refining; food and beverage/pharmaceutical; water/wastewater; pulp and paper/metals and mining; and power and semi-conductor. Each audio track describes an industrial process and how liquid instrumentation optimizes process performance. The CDs also address basic measurement theory, instrumentation and monitoring technologies.

Signet 8150 flow totalizer

Long-lasting, standard lithium batteries make the Signet 8150 flow totalizer ideal for remote or mobile installatioins where access to line power is limited. Because of its low-power-consumption design, these batteries are rated to last up to four years (nominal). The unit is offered with three totalizers — two are resettable for long-term and short-term monitoring, and the third is permanent. A large LCD display indicates both flowrate and total flow volume simultaneously. The 8150 is available in both integral and panel-mounted styles, and can be provided with NEMA 4X protection.

iCAP Series inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometers

The iCAP Series inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometers are said to be the smallest such instrument available on the market today. They feature a new close-coupled optical design with orthogonal optics, which increases the amount of light reaching the detector. The RACID86 fourth-generation charge injection device (CID) detector allows high-intensity signals to be read very rapidly, while lower-intensity signals are accumulated over a longer time. This ensures optimum signal-to-noise ratio and provides resistance to saturation.

OM-CP-FRTC4000A

The OM-CP-FRTC4000A, a miniature, wireless, battery-powered, standalone thermocouple-based temperature transmitter, sends readings back to its host computer, where the data can be analyzed in real-time. The readings are also logged into the device’s memory for added data security. Data are received at the PC using a receiver that attaches directly to the serial port. Numerous devices may transmit data to the same receiving station. All received data are date- and time-stamped and stored directly to the PC.

Chlorine Sensor

Designed with a removable and replaceable membrane cap for easy maintenance and long life, this sensor measures free chlorine at concentrations from 0.1 ppm to 10 ppm. It has an onboard circuit that allows it to be connected to any analytical millivoltmeter, eliminating the need to buy new equipment designed to work only with free-chlorine sensors. The sensor can be converted to measure total chlorine with a switch of the membrane and electrolyte, and comes standard with a temperature sensor to allow automatic temperature correction.
