Introducing Some of AIChE’s New Fellows

1/34   in the series AIChE Recently Elected Fellows

Candidates for AIChE Fellow are nominated by their peers and must have significant chemical engineering experience (generally 25 years). In addition, they must have demonstrated significant service to the profession as well as have been a member of AIChE for at least 10 years.

Please see below to learn more about some of AIChE’s recently elected Fellows. More Fellows will be introduced in future issues of CEP.

Rahul Bindlish

Rahul Bindlish is the Advanced Control and Optimization (AC&O) Technology Leader and Manager at Dow, where he has designed and implemented AC&O technology applications, including models and tools for day-ahead power scheduling, site optimization, nonlinear model predictive control, dynamic real-time optimization, and olefins feedstock selection modeling. His service to the process systems engineering community includes chairing AIChE’s 2023 Foundations of Computer-Aided Process Operations and Chemical Process Control Conference and recent leadership roles in the Computing and Systems Technology (CAST) Div. and the RAPID Manufacturing Institute.
