SUPERMAX

The SUPERMAX all-welded plate heat exchanger is designed as an alternative to shell-and-tube exchangers in elevated pressure and temperature applications. It is particularly suited to applications having a large flow imbalance, including gas or vapor condensers, economizers and related process and energy services, for pressures up to 70 barg (1,015 psi) and at temperatures up to 537°C (1,000°F) for standard range units. With alternating channels for hot and cold media, the unit can be configured to provide true countercurrent or co-current flow.

RapidWrap, a Complete Line of Thermal Insulation Blankets

RapidWrap, a complete line of thermal insulation blankets, is designed for use on virtually any piece of equipment, including diesel exhaust systems, gas turbines, compressors, steam turbines, pumps and flanges. These cost-effective blankets can be easily removed and reapplied to equipment, reducing downtime, maintenance and labor costs. Asbestos-free, these blankets can reduce sound transmission, enhance employee safety and improve product reliability. They are designed to withstand intense conditions, including temperatures up to 1,200°F.

QTA and QVC Series ball valves

QTA and QVC Series industrial, compact ball valves feature socket or threaded-pipe connectors, as well as a rugged, all-plastic design similar to that found on higher-cost ball valves. They have Santoprene thermoplastic elastomer seats, full porting, and a 150-psi pressure rating. The QVC Series valves are available in 0.5-in to 4.0-in. sizes in gray or white polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The QTA Series valves are available in 0.5-in to 2.0-in. sizes in gray or white PVC, and include socket and threaded true union end connections.

AT shut-off valves and valve assemblies

Approved to Factory Mutual (FM) Class 7400, 7420 and 7422, the AT shut-off valves and valve assemblies feature a spring-return automated ball valve, explosion-proof limit switch and solenoid pilot valve, advanced quarter-turn rack-and-pinion actuator design, superior valve seating, and a patented stem-seal system. The valves are available in three-piece models or flanged models, with Type 316 stainless steel or WCB carbon steel trim, in sizes from 1/4 in. to 6 in.

Type 568 lug-style butterfly valve

The Type 568 lug-style butterfly valve has shaft seals that incorporate a double O-ring to protect against external leakage. A disc seal replaces the traditional rubber liner to allow the disc to completely disengage from the seal upon valve opening, reducing friction and improving wear capabilities. The disc seal also incorporates a cross-sectional profile that mechanically retains the seal in the valve body. And a specially engineered body seal features a Q-shaped O-ring that eliminates the need for flat gaskets. The valve has a modular design with an epoxy-coated iron lug body.

Type 567/568 butterfly valve series

Designed for industrial, potable and wastewater treatment systems, the Type 567/568 butterfly valve series features a double-eccentric-disk design typically found only in high-end metallic configurations. This double eccentricity reduces seal friction and wear, resulting in longer service life, minimal maintenance and better protection against pressure surges. It also lowers the torque required to operate the valve, easing manual operation and allowing the use of smaller, less expensive actuators. The 567/568 series feature a modular design ranging in size from 2 in.

AZURE AWWA butterfly valves

Available in a size range from 3 in. to 30 in., and with high-flow capacities as a major priority, the AZURE AWWA butterfly valves are designed to the ANSI/AWWA C504 butterfly valve standard. Their concentric high-strength ductile-iron disc with stainless-steel edge seating provides minimal pressure drop with low turbulence. The 24-in. and smaller designs utilize a lens-shaped disc that provides the smallest protrusion possible in the flow stream. The valve seat is simultaneously bonded and vulcanized to the valve body.

Roetelmann ball valve

The Roetelmann ball valve is actuated through a sealed canister by means of a magnetic coupling and utilizes a non-contact electromagnetic sensor to provide positive indication of the ball position. The valve’s design eliminates the potential of hazardous release by encapsulating the stem and seals in a welded canister — should the seals fail, the medium cannot escape to the atmosphere. The valves are offered in a variety of construction and seal materials to meet customer requirements.

Split-Body Ball Valves

The environmentally friendly generation of split-body ball valves — BV4 — features operating options, such as: a lever with open/close indicator; an oval lever; stern extensions, locking device; a gearbox; a pneumatic cylinder; and an electric actuator. Offering full-bore integral machined execution, double-D-execution stem, and stem packing with double sealing on an anti-blow-out stem with double O-rings, the valves’ thrusts are made from PTFE and the double gaskets are constructed from PTFE on the inside and graphoil on the outside.

RedHat Next Generation line of solenoid valves

The RedHat Next Generation line of solenoid valves is now available with Class I, Div. 2 approval. The certification makes the valves ideal for use in hazardous locations and for watertight applications. In addition, the valves meet all NEMA Types 1 through 4X requirements for water-tight and dust-tight operation. With new power management technology and robust advanced electronics, the valve accepts both AC and DC voltages, while improving performance. Its 2-W power consumption achieves the same performance as a 17-W AC solenoid valve.
