Vortex Autosampler

The Vortex autosampler consists of an integrated autosampling device and multi-stirrer, and is designed to increase ef- ficiency, enhance precision and promote operator safety. The temperature-controlled, heated (up to 150°C) multistirrer assembly features a stainless-steel tray capable of handling both 20-mL and 40- mL vials. Each vial position has its own magnetic stirring mechanism that delivers consistent and reproducible stirring action from vial-to-vial and eliminates variability due to the dissolution process.

Max-Trak Model 180

Touted as the industry’s only NEMA 6 (IP67)-compliant industrial mass-flow controller, the Max-Trak Model 180 is wellsuited for applications where frequent wash-down or hose-down is required. In addition, the instrument comes with the only fully enclosed valve design to drastically minimize leak-in paths. The Max-Trak measures and controls gas mass flowrates from 0 to 200 L/min in a flow body a little over 5 in. long. It has an accuracy of ±0.1% of full scale, and a repeatability of ±0.2% of full scale to ensure process stability, even under changing conditions.

Model 6000 VDC/mADC-input digital panel meter (DPM)

The Model 6000 VDC/mADC-input digital panel meter (DPM) offers a 3.5-digit, 0.6-in. LED or LCD display. An optional alarm relay is activated when the signal exceeds the set limit. Full-scale with wide adjustment is accessible by removing the front cover. The zero is automatic, but an offset can be injected. Other features include: 1,000-Meg. input impedance; auto zero-auto polarity; single ended/differential; and low-power consumption (400 µA at 5VDC for LDC). The unit’s dimensions are 2.3 in. wide by 1.3 in. high by 1.6 in deep.

CM Series Coriolis Flowmeters

Capable of accurate flow measurement in line sizes up to 12 in. and at flowrates up to 80,000 lb/min, the new CM Series Coriolis flowmeters are ideal for applications ranging from clean fluids to the harshest of chemicals. From acids, juices to corrosives, argon to chlorine, hydrogen to ammonia, or even phosgene, the CM Series has a compatible choice of standard wetted parts. In addition to Type 316 stainless steel and Hastelloy, choices include tantalum, Monel, nickel, titanium, carbon steel, zirconium and more.

H2Scan

Based on a technology developed at Sandia National Laboratory, the H2Scan system is a solid-state solution that detects concentrations of hydrogen gas, at concentrations from 10 ppm to 100%, with or without oxygen present. Available in a portable model, the sensor contains a thin film of a palladium-nickel (Pd/Ni) resistor deposited on a silicon substrate that changes resistance in the presence of hydrogen. The lattice inherent in the Pd/Ni absorbs hydrogen molecules. As the number of hydrogen molecules in the lattice increases, the resistance of the Pd/Ni increases in direct correlation.

Cleanroom Robots

Designed for semiconductor manufacturing, testing and handling applications, the new 6-axis robot family includes the KUKA KR 3 CR tabletop robot with a 3-kg payload and a 635-mm reach and the KUKA KR 16 CR robot with a 16-kg payload and a 1,600-mm reach. Each model meets the appropriate ISO and DIN standards for cleanroom operation and is class 5 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and class 100 according to U.S. Federal Standard 209 E. The robots can be integrated with Siemens Simatic Equipment Control System.

VIBXPERT Data Collector/Vibration Analyzer

VIBXPERT, a lightweight, 2-channel, FFT data collector/vibration analyzer, is designed to monitor and diagnose machine conditions. Equipped with an expandable compact flash card, it records all forms of machine vibrations, bearing conditions, process data and visual inspection information. VIBXPERT provides comprehensive analysis functionality for the diagnosis of complex vibration problems, with an easy-to-use icondriven platform. It can measure order spectrum, phase, cepstrum, cross-channel phase, orbits, run-up and coastdown.

V-Cone Chem Processing

The V-Cone Chem Processing flowmeter supports a wide range of both chemical production process line and general plant applications, including measuring water, other mixed liquids or specialty gas flows within process lines, as well as plant systems for water/wastewater, chilled water, steam, natural gas and HVAC. It features an advanced differential-pressure flow sensor designed with built-in flow conditioning to achieve an accuracy of ±0.5%, with a repeatability of ±0.1. The device operates over a flow range of 10:1, and comes in line sizes from 0.5 to 120 in.

WLSX Level Transmitter

The WLSX level transmitter allows continuous non-contact ultrasonic level measurement in liquid storage tanks up to 35 ft (10.7 m). It is ideally suited for challenging corrosive, coating or waste liquids. The compact, corrosion-proof package is completely sealed and stands only 3 in. (76 mm) above the top of the tank. The sensors are two-wire transmitters that are UL, CSA and CE approved. The WLSX can be installed and calibrated in minutes using a calibration wire and a flashing LED that provides calibration feedback.

WaterMONITOR Level Transducer

The waterMONITOR level transducer now comes in a rugged all-titanium package. The submersible hydrostatic transducer, which includes internal datalogging functionality, is ideal for measuring water levels in environmental management applications, such as ground water, surface water, and open-channel level measurement, as well as down hole, well, lake, stream and reservoir level monitoring, and watershed management.
