Extended Linearity (EL) 2200 Series electromagnetic flowmeters

Representing state-of-the-art accurate flow measurement in water cycle and process applications, Extended Linearity (EL) 2200 Series electromagnetic flowmeters create unique electromagnetic field profiles to ensure accuracy in turbulent, transitional and laminar flow regimes. Without using linearization software, the meters can provide extended linearity and a measurement range of up to 1000:1. Featuring the ability to measure bi-directional flow, the EL 2200 series has no moving parts and no pressure drop.

SI Series insertion weigh-belt module

Available in “scale over” or “scale under” design, the SI Series insertion weigh-belt module is a novel feeder that has been designed to fit easily into existing belt or vibratory conveyor lines. Ideally suited for insertion into a transition space between existing conveyors or equipment, the SI Series module is comprised of a short support framework and a 24-in. long “V-Guided” conveyor, available in 12-in., 18-in. and 24-in. widths.

TSA-100 sulfur analyzer

Insusceptible to component cross-interference, the solid-state TSA-100 sulfur analyzer provides accurate total sulfur measurements, even when H2S, SO2 and mercaptans are present in the sample. It works by having a xenon light source send light through fiber optic cables into a flow cell, where the sample’s unique characteristics dictate its interaction with the light. The light enters a holographic grating, which separates white light into its components, such that a diode array detector can measure the intensity of radiation at each wavelength.

USB key

Shock and vibration resistant, this new sealed (IP67) USB key is designed for use in numerous applications, including oil-and-gas and aeronautics. Offered storage capacities vary as follows: 256 MB, 512 MB, 1,024 MB, 2 GB, and 4 GB. The surface color of the key’s metal casing is customizable, available in nickel, olive green or black.

FV100 Series of inline flowmeters

The FV100 Series consist of inline flowmeters that use the vortex-shedding measuring principle. When fluid strikes a bluff body, it imparts alternating vortices downstream of the bluff. This creates a vibration on a sensor body that contains a piezoelectric crystal, whose frequency is proportional to the velocity of the fluid, and is amplified and converted to a 4–20-mA output signal. The FV100 Series has no moving parts and features a bright LED that displays flow in liters or gallons.

AWI-PS wireless integrated pressure switch

The AWI-PS wireless integrated pressure switch is designed for pressure measurement and monitoring without the constraints of hard wiring, making it possible to avoid costly cable and conduit runs, reduce labor and material installation costs, and monitor devices where cabling is not an option. It is ideal for process applications that require a relay to close or open at a given pressure.

Models F025, F050 and F100 high-temperature flowmeters

Rounding out the Micro Motion F-Series family of high-temperature flowmeters are the Models F025, F050 and F100. They are available in Type 316L stainless steel in sizes from 1/4 in. to 4 in., or in Hastelloy C-22 up to 3 in. All are rated to 350°C. The flowmeters’ electronics are attached at the end of a flexible conduit, away from the heat of the sensor, so the user can choose any transmitter option for integral mounting.

Pneumatic Actuators

With an extended aluminum body and a twin rack-and-pinion design, these actuators deliver constant torque output over 500,000 or more cycles. They have inboard and outboard travel stops for easy stroke adjustment to virtually any host valve’s open or closed positions. The body is hard-coat anodized to resist wear and corrosion. Bore finishing minimizes friction and wear. Nickel-plated steel pinions resist internal and external corrosion. Stainless steel assembling screws and die-cast aluminum end caps and pistons also contribute to the actuators’ long life.

PRNA Series miniature rotary actuator

A vane seal that is custom-molded to a machined shaft and vane construct to create a one-piece shaft/vane/seal assembly gives the PRNA Series miniature rotary actuator its durability and strength, and increases its overall reliability. It is versatile enough for use in lubricated or non-lubricated filtered air at pressures ranging from 30 to 150 psi (0.2 to 1.0 MPa). A rounded vane design provides lower vane-seal bypass than typical rotary actuators. Standard internal bumpers provide quiet operation for high-speed applications.

Marathon MM 3M infrared sensor

The Marathon MM 3M infrared sensor uses shorter IR wavelengths to minimize errors due to the uncertainty of emissivity. This makes it less sensitive to changes in emissivity on the target material than long-wavelength sensors and enables it to provide more accurate readings across multiple targets at varying temperatures. The sensor features precision variable-focus optics that allow it to be accurately focused with a touch of a button, and a NEMA-4 sealed user interface that guarantees the integrity of the electronics.
