The catASium T family consists of proprietary, patentpending ligands for the production of special enantiomerically pure substances essential for the manufacture of active ingredients in the pharmaceuticals industry. It is especially useful for the enantioselective hydrogenation of poorly substituted enamides and beta-amino acid precursors, and displays unusually high selectivities for these syntheses. catASium T is based on terpenes like camphor, which makes it easily accessible.
This spray system applies KALCRET-S wear compound to large surfaces quickly and reliably to reduce wear and abrasion, and handle high temperature. With the new spray technique, highstrength KALCRET-S can be sprayed horizontally and vertically to achieve a jointless lining. The sprayed-on surface can be worked to attain a smooth surface. KALCRET-S is a mixture of hard aggregate materials ranging in size from 0–4 mm and consisting of bauxite or corundum (depending on application), cement binder and micro silica. Defined amounts of steel fibers add structural strength.
This new line of heaters uses direct steam injection to rapidly and accurately heat water and water-based slurries in a variety of process applications, such as boiler feedwater preheating, heating fibrous slurries for pulp stock and biomass treatment, paper-starch processing, sanitization and tank cleaning, anaerobic treatment of organic waste, and others. By using all of the sensible and latent heat of steam to heat the fluid, these systems can provide heating equal to that of an indirect heat exchanger with 20–30% less energy consumption.

The new Flame 100 Safety Burner is said to provide a safe alternative to traditional Bunsen or alcohol burners for laboratory applications. The 15-mL precision flame allows for safe sterilization of microbiological instruments. The device is activated by the push of a button and requires no match or pilot flame. Alternatively, the burner can be activated via foot pedal or external infrared motion sensor. Flame size and intensity can be adjusted. The burner is suitable for fixed natural gas and propane/butane gas supplies and gas cartridges or cylinders.
Gap Gages ensure that instrumentation tube fittings are sufficiently tightened. They are particularly useful for fittings in hard-to-reach locations and in systems where inadequate tightening could result in dangerous or expensive consequences. Once the instrumentation tube fitting has been installed, but prior to system pressurization, the Gap Gage is inserted between the fitting nut and the body hex. If the gage will not fit in at any point of the gap, the connection has been properly made up and no additional tightening is necessary.
