Clean Valve

Designed for use on glass-lined reactors where batch-to-batch cleanability is important, the Clean Valve is a bottom-flush valve that is easy to operate and clean. The self-draining valve allows for a variety of functions (including sampling, gas dispersion, maintenance, etc.) without the need to interrupt the process and without dismantling the valve. The glass-linedsteel design ensures no metal contamination of the process fluid and enables use across a wide temperature and pressure range.

410/412 Series large-diameter butterfly valve

The 410/412 series large-diameter butterfly valve features a bi-directional, bubble-tight shutoff pressure rating of 150 psi, high Cv ratings, heavyduty construction, reliability and long service life. The 410 model, a wafer-style body, is available in sizes from 24 in. to 36 in. The 412 model, a double-flanged style body, is available in sizes from 24 in to 48 in. Valve bodies are offered in cast and ductile iron, cast steel and stainless steel and comply with ASME/ANSI 125/150 flange drilling standards.

MECO Custom Shaft Seals

The MECO custom shaft seals reduce solvent vapor loss from rotating extractor, dryer and reactor driveshafts, resulting in local solvent concentrations of 100 ppm or less. Fully split seals can be installed on existing machinery with minimal downtime. Operator-adjustable seals often allow adjustment while machinery continues to run. Patented seal designs accommodate 6 mm and more of diametric shaft run-out.

Micro C-Series (MCeccentric) disc pump line

The stainless-steel Micro C-Series (MCeccentric) disc pump line extends this manufacturer’s operating range from 0.03 to 158.5 gal/min (0.1 to 600 L/min). The pumps’ gentle, low-shear handling of fluids accommodates a variety of chemical-process and metering applications. Sealless technology assures zero leakage and provides consistent delivery and pressure over long periods of time.

UltraTemp hot-gas filtration system

The UltraTemp hot-gas filtration system improves upon traditional ceramic filters made from high-density granular powders, which are brittle and prone to cracking and breakage due to thermal shock. UltraTemp filters are made from low-density ceramic fibers that provide very high resistance to thermal shock. This makes the filters very ductile and resistant to crack formation. The unique composition of the ceramic enables fine particulates to be captured at the fiber surface without blinding. The filters are easy to clean using standard pulse-jet techniques.

Dura-streme dual lens-coating technology

The Dura-streme dual lens-coating technology brings together anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings onto a single lens. The Ultra-dura anti-scratch coating protects the outside of the lens, providing premium scratch and chemical resistance, while the Uvextreme anti-fog coating on the interior of the lens keeps vision clear in environments where humidity and physical exertion are typical. Both coatings are permanently bonded to the lens for performance that lasts even after repeated routine cleanings.

Dynasylan 2201 EQ

A new and improved functional silane adhesion promoter is the latest addition to this company’s line of organofunctional silanes. In demand for glass fiber and foundry resins, Dynasylan 2201 EQ is the result of a patent-pendng production process . The percentage of certain byproducts, and particularly that of the ethyl carbamate contained in comparable products, is less than 0.05%.

Fibertect

Cleaning crews can use Fibertect, a nonwoven cotton absorbent wipe with an activated carbon core, to remove the toxic paste washing up on shore following an oil spill. It absorbs liquids easily and can take in up to 15 times its weight, and it has an excellent capacity for holding in vapors. Most materials typically used to clean up oil spills, such as containment booms, are made from synthetic materials like polypropylene.

Genaminox CHE

Genaminox CHE is a peroxide-stable amine oxide (AO) hard-surface cleaner (HSC) made from a plant-based renewable hydrophobe. It enables manufacturers to cut active ingredient input by up to 66%, reducing material purchasing, transportation and storage costs to achieve lower costs for greener cleaning products. According to industry-standard Gardner tests, it consistently outperforms alternative surfactants at a very low concentration because its critical micelle concentration (CMC) is less than half that of lauryldimethyl AO.

HT-Solve 515

HT-Solve 515 is a high-temperature solvent that is suitable for cleaning equipment used in polymer manufacturing processes, including reactor vessels, pipelines, heat exchangers, pumps, and other equipment that is vulnerable to residue buildup. When polymers are manufactured, a plastic powder residue is produced during polymerization and monomer volatilization, building up inside secondary copolymer reactors and transfer lines. This residue accumulates and solidifies on surfaces, causing equipment to lose efficiency.
