Aggregate Diverter

The Aggregate Diverter offers users a heavy-duty, maintenance- friendly diverter capable of handling abrasive materials (e.g., coal, gravel, sand, whole grains) in gravity flow applications. Available in a complete size range from 6 in. through 24 in., the Aggregate Diverter offers optional “dead pocket” inlet and “honeycombed” bucket deflector for more abrasive applications. Other options include abrasion-resistant polymer or “honeycombed” chute liners.

AlertEnterprise software platform

The AlertEnterprise software platform integrates logical (i.e., computer system) and physical plant security across diverse systems, applications, databases, and geographically distributed assets. It provides real-time monitoring and correlation of logical and physical access events for timely detection of security violations, issuing of alerts, and coordination of response activities. Its risk-management approach follows a three-step process that aggregates blended threats from information technology (IT) systems, physical access-control systems, and critical process-control systems.

Energy Audit Service

The developer of EnergyWarden now offers an energy audit service that uses this tool. This software mines data from distillation towers, heaters and boilers to generate useful reports, quantifying and displaying losses and gains in Btu, percentages, and dollars. The audits can be performed in as little as one hour per distillation tower.

Synapse and Cranium

Synapse helps engineers to design molecules and formulations with desired physical properties. Constraints, such as minimum solubility limits, maximum volatility, minimum flash point, and the need to form an azeotrope with water, are first entered as input. Synapse then generates thousands of candidate molecules, computationally assembling each one atom-by-atom. Candidate formulations are similarly generated by permuting hundreds of possible components and enumerating thousands of compositions.

E-Z Tec DSP metal detector

The E-Z Tec DSP narrow-profile metal detector catches ferrous, nonferrous and stainless metal contaminants in viscous liquids such as slurries, syrups, and pastes. By removing metal contamination, it enhances product purity, and it protects downstream equipment from damage, reducing machinery downtime and maintenance costs. When metal is detected in the product flow, a signal is sent to one of the available output relays, which can activate a ball valve, trigger an alarm, stop product flow, or send a signal to a programmable logic controller.

UNIBAG Series filter bags

UNIBAG Series filter bags are made from low-cost, environmentally friendly materials and provide excellent retention efficiency, operational integrity and reliability. They are available in both polypropylene and polyester made from recycled fibers with no optical white additives. The top UNIRING, which features a molded seal, provides optimum sealing and eliminates bypass problems common with snap rings. This design also reduces process system contamination caused by debris passing through needle punch holes.

APEX dry separation screener

The APEX dry separation screener is a self-contained screening machine that minimizes process downtime and reduces operating costs. Its ergonomic features allow quick and easy maintenance, cleaning and inspection and reduce operator effort, resulting in labor savings and improved operating efficiency. Side access doors and a patented lift cam system provide easy access to screens and ball trays. Screen installation and inspection can be completed in less than two minutes for each panel.

Centri-Sifter twin centrifugal screener

The Centri-Sifter twin ultra-high-capacity centrifugal screener provides the performance of two individual high-capacity screeners, but with a smaller footprint. It handles either dry or moist bulk-solid materials, which are gravity-fed through a splitter that evenly divides the incoming flow into two horizontally oriented cylindrical screening chambers operating in parallel. A shaft in each screening chamber rotates a helical paddle assembly that accelerates the radial movement of particles against the screen.

Granulizing-Drying System

This granulizing-drying system consists of a centrifugal screener, a spheroidizer, a circulating fluid-bed dryer, and a vibratory screener. Non-flowing moist solids that have been discharged from cartridge and vacuum filters, filter presses, mixers or other equipment are converted into uniform, compact, dry, de-dusted, free-flowing granules that can be stored, shipped, packaged or put through secondary processing.

Tru-Balance sifter

The stainless steel Tru-Balance sifter is available in three high-capacity models, each using gentle gyratory motion and the manufacturer’s reliable Tru-Balance drive mechanism. Its stacked-screen construction conserves floor space, allows for highly efficient material grading, reduces chances of screen sagging, and enables the sifter to be suspended or floor-mounted. The pneumatic sieve-compression system simplifies cleaning and maintenance, making it suitable for use as a sanitary gravity flow, atmospheric pressure sifter or screener.
