Vibroscreen Sanitary Batch Sifter

Meeting cGMP, 3-A, USDA and FDA standards, the Vibroscreen Sanitary Batch sifter can be disassembled without tools for rapid sanitizing. It is intended to scalp oversize particles as small as 38 µm (400 mesh) from dry bulk materials or solids-laden slurries. The screen frame’s interlocking flange fully envelops the support ring of the screen, eliminating the gap between the screen ring and frame wall. Screens are mounted to support rings using FDA-approved epoxy and sealed using FDA-approved gasket material, and can be provided with a mesh-tolerance certificate.

Half Frame Bulk Bag Unloader

The Half Frame Bulk Bag Unloader offers economical, total dust containment by eliminating the upper-frame components to lift and/or position the bag, instead relying on the user’s forklift or plant hoist to suspend the bag above the unit during operation. The bag-to-hopper interface consists of a Spout-Lock clamp ring positioned atop a pneumatically actuated Tele-Tube telescoping tube, allowing dust-tight connections and unrestricted flow between the bag spout and hopper, as well as automatic tensioning of the bag as it empties.

Flighted Lift

The Flighted Lift is an indexing lift designed for either vertical storage, or for buffering product during peak production times or when there is a surge during conveyance. Product is conveyed into the system as needed and is indexed and lifted with the flighted lifting mechanism, then discharged with the use of a pusher. While the system features a load point at the bottom of the lift, loading can be accomplished from any level by using a pusher. Single or multiple discharge points can be utilized in either a “C” or “Z” configuration.

Solder-Free Test Sieve

Featuring electro-welded mesh, this analytical sieve is ideal for customers who need to avoid all contamination of their sample by solder or epoxy material coming off their sieves. Further advantages include: wire and frame made from Type 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and easy cleaning; ultra-tight fabric and transitionfree one-piece construction; autoclavable O-ring for quiet operation and dust-tight sieve stacks; individual laser engraving of all relevant information on the frame; and standard compliance certificate with full test data available upon request.

Gorilla Impact/Slider Bars

The Gorilla impact/slider bars are built to take the severe stress and impact generated in the transfer area on a conveyor system. The belt contact area is manufactured from premium virgin, ultra-high molecular-weight (UHMW) polyethylene providing the lowest coefficient of friction. The underlying materials are constructed from a premiumgrade, 55-durometer rubber and the heaviest aluminum support channel available, providing superior durability and performance. Available in 48-in. and 60-in. lengths, the Gorilla bars come with mounting hardware, 4-bolt assemblies with the 48-in.

Manual Dumping Station

Designed to collect dust created during manual dumping of powder and bulk solid materials, this manual dumping station with integral flexible screw conveyor features a high-velocity vacuum fan that draws airborne dust from the operator’s atmosphere onto two cartridge filters. Automatic reverse-pulse filter cleaning allows continuous, efficient operation; timer-activated solenoid valves release short blasts of compressed plant air inside cartridge filters causing dust build-up on the outer filter surfaces to fall into the hopper.

Bohle BFS Fluid-bed Processors

The line of Bohle BFS fluid-bed processors features a patent-pending filter system that uses a unique blowback technology to clean the entire filter surface over its full length. This eliminates clogging and subsequent product defects. Available in capacities ranging from 5 to 480 kg, the BFS features an optional online PAT moisture-detection system utilizing NIR technology for precise moisture determination during granulation and drying. The combination of robust equipment design, reliable analytical instrumentation and easy-to-use software ensures accurate and verifiable results.

Flexible Screw Conveyor

The mobility of this flexible screw conveyor allows for easy changeover, permitting different products to be conveyed using the same conveyor. The conveyor’s UHMWPE tube and steel spiral can be easily disassembled and cleaned with little downtime. Featuring locking swivel wheels for stability, the unit can be easily maneuvered in tight facility locations. The conveyor is controlled using an onboard control panel that can be pre-programmed. Different tube diameters and lengths to accommodate required rates up to 100,000 ft3/h are available.

Shearpeller

The unique Shearpeller impeller design is now available on many of this firm’s pump lines, including pumps for pulp and paper, chemical processing, wastewater, mining and mineral processing. This Shearpeller design features a tapered inlet sleeve that prevents contaminants from plugging the impeller inlet area. The sleeve is loose to rotate independently from impeller. The slower rotation prevents contaminants from collecting at the impeller eye and prevents erosion of the hub. Contaminants such as tape, plastic bands and similar debris can plug the impeller inlet and disrupt operations.

OptiMix reactor

Eliminating the need for top-entry baffles, the OptiMix reactor utilizes three wall-mounted baffles to enhance heat transfer, solids suspension and distribution, gas dispersion, gas flowrates, and mass transfer through improved mixing. The patented baffle design improves CIP efficiency by eliminating the difficult-to-clean top-head pocket at the baffle/nozzle interface. Vortexing and splashing are significantly reduced, resulting in less product drying and sticking to the heated wall above the liquid surface.
