TEM Series 26-mm twin-screw extruder

The TEM Series 26-mm twin-screw extruder is a direct scale-up to production size equipment, making it ideal for use in laboratory trials and small production runs. It is said to feature the highest torque-per-free-volume and the highest screw speed in the market. Typical applications include engineering plastics, fiber compounding, filler compounding, color concentrates, polymer alloy, direct extrusion and reactive extrusion.

SM 2000 centrifugal mill

Size reduction in the SM 2000 centrifugal mill takes place by impact and shearing effects between the rotor and fixed ring sieve. This two-step process ensures gentle, but fast processing. The final particle size is determined by the aperture size of the easily interchangeable ring sieves, which are available in sizes from 0.08 mm to 10 mm. Accessories include an automatic vibratory feeder, collection systems for larger quantities, and a special kit for the processing of very small quantities.

Model RP-1 Twister compact dust collector

Measuring only 18.5 in. in diameter and 63.5 in. high, the Model RP-1 Twister compact dust collector has a capacity of 1,000 ft3/min. It features a 99.999%-efficient fire-retardant cartridge filter and employs Roto-Pulse cartridge-cleaning system, which cleans 100% of the cartridge area, thus providing more-efficient dust collection. It provides quiet, 72-dBA operation. Options include a 100% spunbound-polyester washable filter and wall-mounting kit.

CB1 blenders

The expanded line of CB1 blenders for continuous blending of two or more powders, pellets or flakes now includes five models with feed rates from 150 to 2,500 ft3/h. They feature a unique mixing blade design that proportionally blends and mixes different types of dry bulk materials of varying densities fed from volumetric feeders, at a rate equal to the total rates metered by the feeders. They are constructed of high-quality carbon steel, carbon steel with special coatings, Type 304 or 316 stainless steel, or other materials.

PureFeed AP auger feeder

The PureFeed AP auger feeder features a flexible hopper and programmable external dual-arm agitation system to maximize material handling versatility. The feed hopper is made of FDA-accepted EPDM, and is disposable and recyclable — which makes for simpler and shorter cleaning cycles and virtually eliminates the chance of cross-contamination when changing from one material to another. Type 316L stainless steel is used for most other parts and for 4-L and 36-L extension hoppers and covers. Contact surfaces have standard 16-min. RA finishes, with lower RAs available.

IntelliGen variable-speed brushless blowers

Designed to deliver high air pressures/vacuums to satisfy material handling applications, the IntelliGen variable-speed brushless blowers feature an advanced electronic drive controller to promote high performance and reliability. Their electronic drive further incorporates a state-of-the-art factory-programmed digital signal processor (DSP) offering the capability to customize for specific end-user requirements. Weighing less than 7 lb, the blowers provide compact solutions with a maximum diameter size of 5.7 in. and heights ranging from 5.30 in. to 6.87 in., depending on model.

Better-Weigh Continuous Feeders

The Better-Weigh Continuous Feeders are designed for gravimetric feeding of dry bulk materials where it is necessary to determine actual feed rates on a loss-of-weight basis. Available in seven models with feed rates from 1 to 550 ft3/h, the units provide feeding in either batch or continuous mode, depending upon the arrangement of the feeder’s control electronics. In batch mode, the batch controller is used to control the fast (bulk) and slow (dribble) speeds of the feeder.

Maxiline MBF HD multi-bag filter housing

The Maxiline MBF HD multi-bag filter housing is designed for cost-sensitive, high-flowrate liquid filtration applications up to 4,500 gal/min. The unit features a rugged, hand-wheel-operated davit cover that provides dependable service in most demanding industrial applications. Filter media changeout is simple — remove the cover, loosen the cover eye bolts, turn the hand wheel to raise the cover, and swing it aside; no overhead cranes or external lifting gear are required.

Type VRS circular vibratory screening machine

The Type VRS circular vibratory screening machine is suitable for fractionating, protective and control screening, and de-dusting, as well as the wet screening and dewatering of a variety of bulk solids. Instead of conventional tensioning belts, the machine features a clamping screw design that offers quick access to the screen inserts, provides for a more stable machine behavior and facilitates assembly characteristics. Robust rubber elements on the mounting frame support the Type VRS and achieve a performance that is virtually vibration free.

Conveyor with PosiGrip Technology

Designed for applications where non-contact between products is crucial, this conveyor achieves zero-pressure accumulation that stages from the discharge end around virtually any degree of curvature. The conveyor utilizes PosiGrip technology, which has roller-drive gear teeth formed directly into the rollers, and is powered by smooth, quiet synchronous belting in a positive drive. The latter provides superior drive force vs. line-shaft and O-ring styles of conveyors, while eliminating metal-to-metal contact.
