HMI/SCADA system

This human machine interface/supervisory control and data acquisition (HMI/SCADA) system operates independently of third-party software. Instead, Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2005 can be used to intuitively build HMI/SCADA applications that support an infinite number of tags or points. Net-managed applications can be deployed without a rental license. Programming is not required for display animations, because the system uses Microsoft native objects and allows users to create their own objects, as well.

Barracuda particle-flow software

Barracuda particle-flow software now uses Reprise license manager (RLM), which gives customers the flexibility of using floating software licenses and the ability to easily create license usage reports. Barracuda accurately models the behavior of fluidized-particle flows. It reduces operating costs of existing processes, increases the speed of bringing new processes online, and reviews multiple design options.

Breeze Aermod Parallel

 Breeze Aermod Parallel creates air disperion models on a multi-CPU, multi-core computer or distributed computer network environment, minimizing model runtimes and accelerating the entire process. The software accepts Aermod input files created for use with any version of EPA’s Aermod and is available for both Windows and Linux. It adheres to Microsoft standards for intuitive, uniform graphical user interfaces, and features standardized toolbars, views, menus, commands and dialog boxes.

Sulcol 1.0

The next generation of tower internals design software package, Sulcol 1.0 merges two previously independent design programs, Sulpak 3.3 for rings and packings and Sultray C 7.0 for trays, into a single, robust and user-friendly design package. The program is based on thousands of actual applications in industrial columns and experimental data obtained from the designer’s own test columns. Customers can apply for a one-time download of the entire package from the company’s website.

ValveAnalysis

A software plug-in that enables certain diagnostic tests to be run on its products is now available.  ValveAnalysis works with Emerson Process Management’s AMS Suite to run the Ramp Signature test for the identification of leaks in tubing fittings, improperly  aligned plugs and seats, loose linkage, broken actuator spring sand sticky spool valves. For the HDL test, the plug-in calculates the four standard diagnostic signatures — hysteresis, deadband, repeatability and linearity — by opening and closing valves.

Chemical Approval module

For use with the two latest versions of this company’s material safety data sheet (MSDS) management systems, the Chemical Approval module streamlines chemical requests and approvals for customers using and storing chemicals. Managers can perform a hazard assessment of their MSDSs and review main hazard information and fire code along with other environmental safety and health regulatory reports necessary to safely use and store hazardous materials onsite.

Intelex Version 5.1

Intelex Version 5.1 includes new tools and modules, as well as additional enhancements to this scalable, web-based environmental, health and safety (EH&S) management platform. Its customizable features include user-selected colors, graphics, and logos for charts and scorecards. New tools include the Custom Data Set Builder, the Audit Trail Module, and the Open Pass API.

Triconex Trident safety system version 2.1.1

Version 2.1.1 of the Triconex Trident safety system contains two input modules that enhance worker safety and reduce downtime. An enhanced pulse-input module measures speed, rate of speed change, and rate of acceleration of rotating equipment in milliseconds, which permits faster prediction of over-speed conditions that could jeopardize personnel, interrupt operations, or damage equipment. A high-resolution digital input module optimizes trip-data analysis by monitoring changes of state and event sequences with a timestamp resolution of 1 ms and an accuracy of 1 ms.
