CloudWorx laser-scanning

This new CloudWorx laser-scanning software enhances and extends the usefulness and value of rich laser scan data for plant design, construction, maintenance and operations. Real-world as-built data can now easily be visualized directly in Intergraph’s SmartPlant Review. This enhances the effectiveness of both the engineering task force and owner/operator review process for retrofit projects, resulting in smoother and lower-risk retrofit construction projects and improved plant operations and maintenance.

Maple 10

Maple 10 combines numeric and symbolic calculations, explorations, mathematical notation, documentation, buttons and sliders, and graphics and animations that can be shared and reused. For improved ease of use, it provides a sophisticated Math Equation Editor that lets users create textbook-quality equations in natural mathematical notation, interactively. Maple 10 features an extensible dictionary with over 5,000 engineering and mathematical terms, enhancing the ability to document, communicate and share detailed technical information.

SimSci-Esscor’s PRO/II

This jointly developed interface enables SimSci-Esscor’s PRO/II process simulation users to easily integrate Haverly System’s H/CAMS crude-assay information into their process simulations to help further improve yields and profitability.

Simulis Thermodynamics

Simulis Thermodynamics provides engineering and research professionals with high-quality thermophysical properties calculations that can be plugged into any software of wider application range (i.e., equipment sizing, system modeling, etc.) using COM/DCOM technology. It is also available as an Excel add-in or a toolbox in MATLAB.

FATE 2.0 (Facility Flow, Aerosol, Thermal and Explosion Model)

FATE 2.0 (Facility Flow, Aerosol, Thermal and Explosion Model) software is designed to replace computer codes currently used for design and safety analyses for U.S. Dept. of Energy projects at the Hanford site and elsewhere. These include codes such as HADCRT for tank farms and waste treatment plants and WESF, PFP, HANSF MCO and HANSF for spent nuclear fuel, sludge and the site’s “T plant” chemical separation facility. New features include the flammability and combustion of gases, vapors and aerosols model, and entrainment of deposits to form aerosols modeling.

MODES computer program

Developed as a cost-effective alternative to physical testing for the prediction of explosive decompression (ED) in elastomer systems, the MODES computer program is over 88% accurate at predicting the onset of ED damage in seals. It enables engineers to assess an extensive range of what-if scenarios and design components and operating procedures to avoid failure. The software, a result of BHR Group’s MODES project, is available to sponsoring organizations and contains extensive data on the selected materials.

IPRSM, a web-enabled software for intelligent pressure-reliefsystem management

IPRSM, a web-enabled software for intelligent pressure-reliefsystem management. has proven to be the cost-effective way to manage documentation for pressure-relief systems and assure compliance with regulatory codes and company standards over the lifecycle of a facility. It fulfills all OSHA CFR 29 1910.119 documentation requirements, and integrates and stores MOC, PHA, maintenance and equipment records.

Combustion Expert 3.2

One of the key benefits of Combustion Expert 3.2 is its ability to perform technical and economic evaluations when converting from oil- to natural-gas-fired furnaces or vice versa. These changes affect the flame temperature, air/fuel ratio, gas emissivity and the radiative heat transfer in the furnace. At higher temperatures, the heat transfer is almost always driven by radiation. These calculations are very cumbersome and difficult to make. However, with this software, these calculations can be done with a click of a mouse in a few seconds.

PRISM 3D 5.0

Now in the final beta-testing stage, PRISM 3D 5.0 is the next generation of software for sharing and extracting information from laser scan as-built documentation. By displaying as-built documentation as a fully interactive photo-realistic 3D image, it enables users to more easily and intuitively extract the desired information. The software increases design productivity and efficiency by more quickly and accurately generating 2D drawings.

MapleNet Commercial

Powered by Maple 9.5 interactive mathematical software, MapleNet Commercial is a webbased platform for deploying technical knowledge within and across departments or organizations. It enables engineers and scientists to make information sharing, project auditing, compliance, design updates, technical documentation and risk analysis faster and easier. Users can embed dynamic formulas, models and diagrams as live knowledge inside web pages.
