PSI-Plot Version 8.8 for Windows

PSI-Plot Version 8.8 for Windows performs technical plotting and data processing. Its powerful scientific spreadsheet capabilities simplify data analysis and its object-oriented on-screen graphics editor makes designing and modifying graphs user-friendly. This release adds 30 new features to the program, including simplex and Powell methods for nonlinear fitting, dose-response analysis, Weibull analysis, and Kaplan-Meier survival estimates, among many others. It offers an easy-to-use plot wizard that assists users in creating customized plots and plot settings.

Synchronous Technology (ST)

Synchronous Technology (ST) offers benefits designed for both novice and advanced CAD users. This easy-to-operate software add-on breaks through the limitations and complexities of standard feature-based parametric CAD modeling software, which commonly experiences problems when handling highly interdependent, complex models. The program promises to ease the modeling process by introducing a method that goes back to the fundamentals of geometry and inferring the designer’s intentions.

MiMiC process modeling software Version 3.0.0

Version 3.0.0 of MiMiC process modeling software supports virtually all object-linking and embedding for process control (OPC) platforms, including those from Emerson, Rockwell, HIMA and Schneider. Without requiring a team of simulation experts to operate the software, users can inexpensively produce dynamic and scalable simulations. This new version provides non-intrusive simulation interfaces that minimize control system changes, allow for systems testing and secure control system integrity.

CADWorx Design Review 2008

CADWorx Design Review 2008 enables users to see an accurate 3D model of the eventual design will look when completed, and to examine large files quickly by producing review files that are as small as one-eighth the size of the original model. The software provides highly intuitive and interactive tools, such as markups, comments and red-lining, to produce review deliverables. It allows designers to create informative animated models that detail color, transparency, shadows, layers and many other project-specific elements.

iSense software suite

The iSense software suite maintains, documents and helps to manage pH and dissolved oxygen sensors. Based on the manufacturer’s Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) technology, this software runs processes using intelligent sensors that provide sensor-specific, real-time status information. ISM enables the application of plant-wide maintenance initiatives using pre-calibrated sensors, which eliminates difficult onsite sensor calibration. Sensors can also be connected via a USB port to a Windows-based PC where intuitive analysis, calibration and documentation applications can be accessed.

DF_Contour

DF_Contour generates publication-ready graphs and contours from numerical and experimental data. It can also produce a screen animation of a succession of color maps or graphs. This simple and inexpensive tool can be used to represent and analyze up to 16 different data sets or graphs simultaneously. A user needs to input ASCII-formatted data with a one-word descriptor (e.g., #vector, #scalar) before each dataset for DF_Contour to identify the type of data and represent it properly. These types include vector and scalar fields, shapes, curves and markers.

PlantTriage

The new visual modeling tools of PlantTriage result in improved dynamic process models. Drag-and-drop modeling allows the user to take test data and drag the model curve to match the actual response curve. The program then finds a dynamic process model that reflects the visually designed response. This model gives optimal proportional-integral- derivative controller (PID) values, simulating responses to upsets and noise.

Caesar II version 5.10

By streamlining existing program features and using Tech Soft 3D’s HOOPS graphic engine, the latest edition of Caesar II boasts a 40% gain in graphics performance. Version 5.10 of this pipe stress analysis package can better handle larger and more complex models. Caesar II incorporates a wide range of capabilities, including: numerous piping codes; expansion joint, valve and flange, and structural databases; structural buried pipe modeling; equipment and vessel nozzle evaluation; and spectrum and time history analysis.

REACH module

Designed for use with the vendor’s online material safety data sheet (MSDS) management system, the online REACH module gives customers support in complying with Europe's Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) regulatory framework for chemical substances. It allows users to categorize products by REACH requirements, upload annual production-volume data, and calculate substance tonnage in order to determine a course of action for each requirement.

Nautilus LIMS version 8.0

Nautilus LIMS version 8.0 now includes data management functionality. Capable of capturing, archiving and storing both derived and raw instrument data, the data manager is a complete storage and retrieval system that understands and preserves analytical data, documents and PDF files. It provides instant access to data, enabling users to view, search and manipulate real data and metadata without requiring the original Nautilus software itself.
