NiagaraAX

NiagaraAX is an infrastructure automation and device-to-enterprise integration platform. Its Version 3.4 release adds 64-bit Windows support with a higher capacity AX Supervisor. It also has an option that allows the Framework’s AX Supervisor to run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, and a driver that supports the MySQL database. It incorporates support for IPv6, the next protocol that is set to replace Internet Protocol (IP) Version 4 (IPv4).

ALGOR Version 22 finite element analysis (FEA) software

ALGOR Version 22 finite element analysis (FEA) software has upgraded its modeling, simulation, and results evaluation and presentation features. Its expanded support for 64-bit systems allows users to handle larger models faster than before. Its multifrontal massively parallel solver (MUMPS) quickly solves linear and nonlinear stress and fluid-flow models

AspenONE Version 7

AspenONE Version 7 brings together simulation, equipment design and economic analysis, allowing integrated conceptual engineering workflow through one user interface. Its patented master data model (MDM) enables process manufacturers to effectively manage assets from design through operations stages of the product lifecycle. It offers an integration of both equation-oriented and sequential modular approaches to simulation, which is especially useful for the energy sector.

LOOP-PRO Version 5

LOOP-PRO Version 5 is a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller tuner that uses the manufacturer’s non-steady-state (NSS) modeling innovation to handle a broader range of processes than other diagnostic and optimization software tools. It eliminates the requirement of steady-state operation prior to the performance of process “bump” tests so that users no longer need to wait extended periods for processes to settle out, minimizing ongoing production disruption.

DesignCheck

DesignCheck is a first-pass, fully integrated simulation tool that is designed to be used with Pro/ENGINEER — the integrated 3D CAD/CAM/CAE program from Parametric Technology Corp. DesignCheck is a time-limited finite element analysis (FEA) software that allows engineers and designers to perform linear static stress analysis of single-part CAD models. Users can virtually test the behavior of product designs, speed time-to-market, and make better, safer products more cheaply.

MSDgen 5.08

MSDgen 5.08, the latest release of the manufacturer’s Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) authoring system, assists customers in drafting hazard communication documents to comply with Europe’s Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) regulatory framework for chemical substances, as well as the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for classification and labeling of chemicals.

DNA Analytics 4.0

DNA Analytics 4.0 visually explores, detects, and analyzes patterns in microarray data. This latest release allows users to analyze more than 100 samples per experiment and includes a free genomic browser and copy number variation (CNV) analysis capability. The software features chromatic immunoprecipitation-on-chip (ChIP-on-chip), array-based comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH), and gene expression analytics capabilities. Changes to analytical conditions are reflected in graphics updates in only seconds.

Uniformance Process Studio

Uniformance Process Studio’s user-friendly interface facilitates process performance analysis in workflow management applications. It builds trend graphs and graphics, without requiring extensive personnel training and manual configuration. This software is designed to be used with the manufacturer’s Uniformance PHD (performance history database), which gathers critical data from equipment and instrumentation located throughout a plant.

PSI-Plot Version 8.8 for Windows

PSI-Plot Version 8.8 for Windows performs technical plotting and data processing. Its powerful scientific spreadsheet capabilities simplify data analysis and its object-oriented on-screen graphics editor makes designing and modifying graphs user-friendly. This release adds 30 new features to the program, including simplex and Powell methods for nonlinear fitting, dose-response analysis, Weibull analysis, and Kaplan-Meier survival estimates, among many others. It offers an easy-to-use plot wizard that assists users in creating customized plots and plot settings.

Synchronous Technology (ST)

Synchronous Technology (ST) offers benefits designed for both novice and advanced CAD users. This easy-to-operate software add-on breaks through the limitations and complexities of standard feature-based parametric CAD modeling software, which commonly experiences problems when handling highly interdependent, complex models. The program promises to ease the modeling process by introducing a method that goes back to the fundamentals of geometry and inferring the designer’s intentions.
