Hose Track Identification and Lifecycle Analysis System

The Hose Track Identification and Lifecycle Analysis System modernizes the conventional pen-and-paper log book method of recording usage data for process equipment. Its updated brochure includes an easy-to-read chart that highlights the differences. This patented system features an enhanced level of safety and security to processing functions performed in critical industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, and others involving high-purity applications.

Hydraulic System Components and Accessories

This 338-page catalog on an interactive CD highlights products in six categories: clamps (pipe, tube, hose); test (couplings, adapters, hoses); diagtronics (gages, testers, monitoring systems); filtration (pressure, off-line, return line, components); accessories (strainers, diffusers, accumulators); and valves (high-pressure, stainless, flow control). The catalog features video, a filter selection program, English and metric dimensions, charts, technical drawings, and comprehensive cross-referencing.

Modular Tubing System

A modular tubing system that includes tubes, elbows, laterals, and butterfly and diverter valves is the subject of this new catalog. Among the new and redesigned products that are highlighted are a new loose flange product line, airtight butterfly valves, and adjustable elbows. Technical drawings and application notes are provided.

Double-Ferrule Instrumentation-Grade Tube Fittings

These double-ferrule instrumentation-grade tube fittings reduce the chance of hazardous and expensive leaks in instrumentation, process, pneumatic, hydraulic, gas and other tubing systems. Each fitting consists of a nut, a back ferrule, a front ferrule, and a body, and when installed with the tubing, becomes a five-piece connection with a solid leak-free joint. The two ferrules are tightly swaged around the tube and the lack of initial strain on the tubing ensures against tube wall damage.

Sani-Tech STHT-C Lasermarked Tubing

Sani-Tech STHT-C lasermarked tubing features a permanent marking that provides better traceability without the risk of extractables or code removal. Standard marking includes the part number and lot code; custom markings are available upon request. The platinum-cured, ultra-pure tubing is fully characterized, validated and tested to a variety of specifications, including USP Class VI, ISO 10993, and European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9.

Poly-Flo Double-Containment Piping

Easy to Install Constructed of polypropylene and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Poly-Flo double-containment piping features a unitary extruded design. Patented double O-ring flanges allow the piping to be pre-assembled and then easily bolted into place in the field. Available sizes include 1 × 2, 2 × 3 and 4 × 6 in., and a complete line of molded fittings, as well as special-order fabricated fittings for drainage or pressure applications, is available.

Schedule 80 PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) and Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) Pressure Piping

This line of Schedule 80 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) pressure piping has been expanded to include 20-ft lengths of largediameter — 10-in. and 12-in. pipe. Fittings are supplied in a combination of fabricated and molded styles that include a wide range of couplings, bends, wyes, pipe increasers, reducing wyes, expansion joints, brass inert fittings and saddles. The PVC and CPVC systems are resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols and other corrosives, and they will not rust, scale or pit. The PVC has a temperature rating up to 140°F, the CPVC to 210°F.

PumpSil, a Platinum-Cured Silicone Tubing with an Ultra-Smooth Bore

PumpSil, a platinum-cured silicone tubing with an ultra-smooth bore to control protein binding and bacterial growth, is postcured to minimize leachables and extractables. To ensure absolute traceability, it can be laser-marked end-to-end with part and lot numbers and use-by date. A 100% indelible fine etch is produced on the surface of the tube, preventing contamination from inks and other materials. PumpSil meets USP Class VI, ISO 10993 and USDA requirements, and is available in standard and custom sizes from 50-ft boxes to 500-ft spools, with custom-molded assemblies and manifolds.

UV/EB Technology for What’s Next

“UV/EB Technology for What’s Next” is a 6-page catalog offering technical details on 23 new oligomers and three new monomers for ultraviolet/electron beam (UV/EB) technology applications. It features a comprehensive matrix with detailed technical data, including performance features like functionality, color, viscosity, density, refractive index, elongation, glass transition temperature (Tg), and more, to help formulators select the proper additive. The guide also includes synopses of seven technical presentations given at the UV&EB Technology Expo and Conference held in April 2006.

pinch diverter valves

These pinch diverter valves are built for obstruction-free flow of dry materials conveyed under pressure in dilute, semi-dense and dense-phase pneumatic systems. They can direct material to two different destinations or be set up to combine material flows from two different sources. Each valve can be adapted for its application and configured to a specific angle of divergence or convergence. They handle pressures up to 85 psig and may be furnished with flanged, plain or grooved pipe connections with integral pressure switches that indicate flow direction.
