dual-gas analyzer

This device employs technology originally developed for optical gas analyzers that measure ethylene oxide (EO) concentrations in medical sterilization chambers. Now the technology is making its debut in a dual-gas analyzer. In sterilization chambers, the new insrument gives readouts with accuracy of ±3% for both EO and H2O (steam is used to enhance efficacy of EO), despite abrupt changes in chamber temperature, humidity, pressure, condensation levels, product gas absorption.

Xmitr

The Xmitr combines the company’s PowerFlex pressure gauge with transducer technology to create a single, dual-function instrument. With only half the number of instruments to install, the Xmitr saves instrumentation and installation costs, time and space. The device provides traditional transducer features including 4-20mA and voltage outputs, CE ratings, and 1% BFSL accuracy with electronic temperature compensation from –20°C to 85°C.Pressure ranges from 30 to 5,000 psi are available in three configurations: Type X1005 with a 2-in. dial and Type X2001 with a 2.5-in. or 3.5-in. dial.

V2 System flowmeter

When installed, the V2 System flowmeter requires less straight-run piping than conventional flowmeters. Suitable for a wide range of industrial process and wastewater applications, the system accommodates line sizes from 4 in. to 18 in., wherever irregular or crowded piping and equipment conditions make other flow technologies impractical or unworkable. The flowmeter measures over a wide flow range from 40 to 7,500 gal/min.

ST50 and ST75 flowmeters

The ST50 and ST75 flowmeters are now available with a wireless communication option. Featuring built-in infrared technology and a standard personal data assistant (PDA), field technicians can obtain measurements, make setting changes, and read troubleshooting codes without opening the instrument. The wireless capability makes the flowmeters ideal for hard-to-reach locations or where opening the instrument is inconvenient or labor intensive. The ST50 is an insertion-style mass flowmeter designed for air, compressed-air or nitrogen flow measurements in line sizes ranging from 2 in. to 24 in.

Chloritrol valveless metering system

The Chloritrol valveless metering system provides accurate, maintenance-free injection of sodium hypochlorite into water. Since liquid sodium hypochlorite tends to out-gas, traditional metering tools present a challenge for maintaining accuracy. Chloritrol’s valveless duplex pump design has one high-pressure pump that injects the sodium hypochlorite directly into the water main, and another that removes out-gas bubbles from the inlet side of the other pump head.

FlexMixer

The FlexMixer — the first single-use mixing bag that can be used to mix materials of any viscosity or density difference — can be scaled to over 10,000 L and does not have any internal impeller or actuator. An integral perforated diaphragm in the mixing bag is moved up and down by a simple low-cost mechanism to provide reliable, efficient and complete mixing. Compared to traditional mixing systems, FlexMixer integrates materials more completely and efficiently and eliminates the need for cleaning and/or sterilization between batches, saving companies valuable time and money.

Model LB100 Ultrasonic WeatherStation

The Model LB100 Ultrasonic WeatherStation meets the growing need for real-time, site-specific weather information. An all-in-one weather sensor calculates apparent wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint and wind-chill temperature. An internal compass and global positioning system are optional features; when both are included, true wind speed and direction can be calculated, which enables more accurate estimates of fugitive emissions flowrates. This enables the facility to employ the most-effective control technology.

DTR Series transmitters

DTR Series transmitters provide a simple and practical solution for combustible- or toxic-gas monitoring in hazardous environments. These rugged instrments can be configured for one or two sensors, and allow complete calibration and configuration to be performed without compromising the explosion-proof integrity of the unit. In addition, the sensor can be calibrated by a single worker in a hazardous areas without declassification. The transmitters are available in a two-wire, intrinsically safe configurations, and with catalytic, electrochemical or infrared sensors.

Model 204 Oil in Water and VOC in Water analyzer

The Model 204 Oil in Water and VOC in Water analyzer detects oil and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with a high degree of accuracy. Key to accuracy is a membrane technology called Sample Transfer Stripper (STS) that provides an ultraclean, dry sample. Model 204 is competitive in price with similar detectors and requires less maintenance.
