PH-TEMP101 pH and temperature recorder

A battery-powered pH and temperature recorder, the PH-TEMP101 will measure and record up to 13,107 measurements per channel. The storage medium is non-volatile solid-state memory, providing maximum data security even if the battery becomes discharged. The device can be started and stopped directly from a computer and its compact size allows it to be used almost anywhere.

PCSPMU01 power module

The PCSPMU01 power module is designed to support typical cabinet configurations of currently installed Bailey Network90 and Infi90 systems. The module provides 5-, 15- and 24-Vdc at a maximum of 800 W. A spare power-unit slot allows expansion with one additional power module, which will double the power output of either 5 Vdc or 15 Vdc.

D2000M multiplexer

The intrinsically safe D2000M multiplexer is geared for applications requiring the acquisition of temperature and discrete data from hazardous locations. Field units can be directly installed in Div. 1/2, each capable of handling 16 temperature or 32 discrete inputs, self-powered by the communication line. Up to 256 channels are relayed to the safe area gateway. Integration with control and data acquisition systems is obtained via the gateway Modbus (RS485) output.

Bluewave particle size analyzer

Bluewave is this firm’s next generation particle-size analyzer based on laser-diffraction technology. Bluewave uses cutting-edge blue laser diodes that offer significantly better resolution, accuracy and repeatability than any existing offerings. The Flexar sensor requires no field calibration or re-calibration and can be easily set up without the use of any special tools or training.

HotBus digital serial communication system

The HotBus digital serial communication system offers customers a cost-effective approach to continuous bearing-temperature monitoring. With up to 256 bearing sensors on a single twisted pair cable, installation is easier and maintenance free. The system allows complete control with user-adjustable relative ambient and absolute trip points for each sensor. HotBus Control units can be standalone or connected to relay control units to provide automatic machine shutdown. Ethernet, Modbus, and Device Net Gateways are also available for connection to existing networks.

Air Piston Vibrators

The VM-25, said to be the world’s smallest air-piston vibrator, will soon be available in all stainless steel. It can be used to promote the free flow of materials from small, thin-skinned (minimum 28 gauge) bins and hoppers to 2 ft3 (57 L) capacity. The device is ideal for pharmaceutical or food-grade applications, or in corrosive environments. It can be supplied with a muffler to prevent contamination and reduce noise levels. An air-cushioned version, VMAC-25, further decreases noise levels with a 30% reduced force output.

UV-G400 and UV-TS600 microprocessor controllers

Under the UV Vision-2000 series of microprocessor controllers, the UV-G400 and UV-TS600 modular designs incorporate innovative LCD screens, offering both ease and accessibility for man-machine communication. The UV-G400 features a graphic screen and multiple options, while the advanced UV-TS600 is a touchscreen model with “touchable” images and text, capable of operating as a single or multiple controller.

FT4 powder rheometer

The FT4 powder rheometer is a fully automated universal powder tester for the comprehensive characterization of powder flowability. The new permeability module uses a pressure transducer to measure pressure drop across the height of a powder bed in the system’s test vessel while the air velocity through the powder is controlled. Importantly, conditioning of the sample before evaluation ensures a homogeneous, stress-free and reproducible packing condition. Permeability measurements using the FT4 can be conducted in a variety of ways to suit specific requirements.
