Vespel CR-6100

Vespel CR-6100 combines the broad chemical compatibility and low friction coefficient of DuPont Teflon with the dimensional stability of carbon fiber to create an ideal material for pump wear rings, line shaft bearings, bushings and similar components. This unique composite material offers: outstanding run-dry performance; extremely low wear rate; service to over 500°F; excellent impact resistance; and exceptional machining and installation characteristics.

Sintered Pure Silicon Carbide (SSIC)

This Chinese supplier for sealing products now offers various kinds of wear parts made in sintered pure silicon carbide (SSIC). SSIC is a better grade of material than reaction-bonded silicon carbide (SiC RB), and can be made into seal faces, bushes, thrust washers, nozzles, etc. SSIC is wear-resistant and chemical-resistant, making it ideal for use in pumps and mechanical seals

MNX enclosures

MNX enclosures protect components operating in harsh environments. Constructed of polycarbonate and acrylonitrile-butadiene styrene (ABS), the enclosures feature three body and five cover depths to offer over 240 variations. Custom molds are available for high-volume applications. Corrosion-resistant and waterproof, the enclosures are rated NEMA 4X and are UL listed. All models are in compliance withthe RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive.

Amilon custom-compound PTFE materials

Amilon custom-compound polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials are used as additives to enhance other materials’ properties, such as thermal conductivity, friction, compressive strength, wear rate, creep and cold flow, and to provide resistance to abrasion, temperature and corrosion. They use a wide range of fillers, such as glass, graphite, molybdenum and bronze, and can withstand temperatures from –400°F to 500°F. The materials are available in sheets, rods, cylinders, or machined parts, and can be made in distinctive colors.

Optiswitch 3000

The Optiswitch 3000, for the level detection of bulk solids, and the 5000, for the level detection of liquids, are virtually unaffected by the chemical and physical properties of their respective application media, including density, conductivity, viscosity and dielectric constant. Key to the Optiswitch’s robust operation is a tuning fork that is energized piezoelectrically and vibrates at the mechanical resonance frequency. Because the piezo is fixed mechanically, it is not subject to temperature shock limitations.

DigiTrace NGC-30

DigiTrace NGC-30 is an electronic control, monitoring and power distribution system for industrial heat-tracing applications. The system monitors temperatures, ground fault currents, operating currents and other variables, and can communicates this information either locally, to a user interface terminal, or remotely, via DigiTrace Supervisor software.

Optek Model AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor

The Optek Model AF26 is a dual-channel absorption sensor designed to automate manual processes and offer increased control of inline applications. It precisely measures color and concentrations, and can be used in a variety of industrial processes. The AF26 sensor uses light at wavelengths of 380 to 1,100-nm and is available in a wide variety of line sizes, process connections and wetted materials.

M7500 infrared camera

The M7500 is a fixed-installation infrared camera with 320 ¥ 240 resolution. Producing superior images and temperature measurement (±2°C) for many long-wave applications, the camera handles mid-wave, too. Spectral tuning enables the M7500 to be configured for its specific application, including that where high-temperature capability (200°C–2,000°C) is desired. The M7504 version of the camera offers flame-filtering capability for furnace/kiln monitoring. Both models have advanced, maintenance-free electronics and industrial-grade protective packaging.

AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor

The AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor takes precise inline measurements of color and concentration that can be used to improve product quality, maximize yield, minimize product loss, and detect contaminants, as well as prevent excessive discharge to waste treatment facilities. It is suitable for use in most clean-in-place/sanitize-in-place (CIP/SIP) procedures, and can accommodate hazardous area classifications and extreme temperatures and pressures.

Model URX1 digital refractometer

Made intrinsically safe, the Model URX1 digital refractometer can be installed directly on the process line in a hazardous area. A self-contained analyzer with multiple functions continuously detects the refractive index of the liquid sample. The measured value can be displayed in units of nD or Brix with maximum accuracy of ± 0.00007 nD (± 0.05 Brix). Avaliable options include an RS485 serial output for computer interface and Profibus DP interface.
