Nederman Original Fume Extractor Arms

The Nederman Original Fume Extractor Arms are designed to capture fume and dust at the source. They are available in lengths of 5, 7, 10 and 14 ft. Also available in a corrosion-resistant model, these arms offer versatility and can be mounted in single or multiple arrangements with fans or filtration equipment. The variety of mounting brackets offered allows the arms to be mounted onto walls, ceilings, floors or workbenches.

Plant Performance Supervision and Alarm Management Tools

Traditionally, alarm management and performance supervision have been independent software applications. Integrating these two applications is TiPS and ExperTune. These companies have leveraged their respective expertise to develop the next-generation manufacturing intelligence tool. Alarm performance metrics from LogMateAMS are used by PlantTriage in loop performance calculations, resulting in a more complete and accurate view of operations.

MAX300-IG

The MAX300-IG is a fast, stable, high sensitivity gas analysis system designed for industrial process analysis and control. It has a mass range of 2 to 300 amu with detection limits from 100% to 10 ppb. The standard system comes in an environmental controlled, dust-proof enclosure that can be upgraded for use in explosive or toxic applications. The system can be used for plant-wide stream analysis by using multiport valves and valve control. It features multiple alarms and setpoint control. The MAX300-IG process analysis software package is designed for flexibility and ease of use.

Stargate-O-Port valve (model # 6701a)

Designed to eliminate the inherent dangers of current feeding and outlet systems used in coke manufacturing, the Stargate-O-Port valve (model # 6701a) is a 60-in. 300# service valve with inlet flange and injectors for the feed media. It can handle temperatures up to 1,000°F and pressures to 400 psi. Alloy steel is used for the for the valve body and the blade is coated with nickel phosphorous to minimize the adhesion of coke to the blade, thus guaranteeing proper actuation of the valve. The blade is guided in graphite blade guides and sealed with exfoliated graphite.

Horiba Model VA-3000

The Horiba Model VA-3000 analyzer can measure NH3 slip in stack gas emissions by using two chemiluminescent analyzers in a single instrument case, thereby significantly reducing space requirements and equipment costs. This multi-gas instrument can provide up to three separate gas measurements or multiple ranges of the same gas. A combination of up to three analyzer modules can be installed within a single instrument case that can be mounted in a standard 19-in. rack.

Digiflow FlowX3

Digiflow FlowX3 is a complete range of solid plastic and metal paddle-wheel flow sensors, instruments and sensor installation fittings. Included are ultra-low flow sensors, adjustable flow switches and an insertion electromagnetic flow sensor. Instruments include modular design monitor/ transmitters and a batch controller for direct-to-sensor, panel, or wall mount installation

EP-IR spectroscopy analyzers

The rugged encoded photometric infrared (EP-IR) spectroscopy analyzers employ a highly-efficient modular optical system and a multi-channel precision rotary encoder, which is capable of acquiring spectra at rates up to 100 Hz. EP-IR is a possible alternative to nondispersive infrared (NDIR), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and gas chromatographic technologies currently used for process monitoring and environmental applications. A single EPIR system can replace multiple NDIR modules.

OxyTrak flue gas oxygen analyzer

OxyTrak, an in situ flue gas oxygen analyzer, is self calibrating and requires no reference air. It uses a unique, miniaturized zirconium-oxide sensor with a sealed internal reference to accurately determine flue gas oxygen content, even with rapidly changing process conditions. With the sensor acting in “pump” mode, the current needed to maintain partial pressure equilibrium is proportional to the oxygen content. In addition, the Nernst voltage present during transients is used to instantly indicate the magnitude of oxygen content changes.

Gas Detector

This intrinsically safe gas detector uses plug-in modules to spot dangerous concentrations of over 50 toxic or explosive gases — from arsine to xylene. It is especially useful for areas where gases under pressure could pose flammability or poisoning problems. The plug-in modules simplify recalibration. Because each module is precision tuned to “see” a specific gas, recalibration is just a matter of pulling one module and replacing it with a new one, obviating the need for cumbersome calibration cylinders.

Wireless Level Field Unit

The new Wireless Level Field Unit is designed to measure hydrostatic level in a vented tank and is available with an integrated sensor or an extended sensor. In situations where the level measurement point is low to the ground or the tank is surrounded by a containment dike, the extended sensor allows for more advantageous positioning of the wireless transceiver without compromising accuracy. This Field Unit is self-contained, fully wireless, and samples pressure at regular intervals based upon user specification.
