At 101 years old, Charlie Bliss is believed to be the oldest American ever to receive a patent. Last June the chemical engineer received a patent for a design to capture carbon dioxide emissions from power plants that burn fossile fuels to prevent them from entering the atmosphere.
Bliss and his business partner Charles Moseley, age 81, run a start-up company together to market their idea and they are working on six more patents.
