The Board of Directors election will commence next month on Tuesday, September 6th. We have many great candidates this year who are excited to serve the membership as a board member. As Young Professional members of AIChE, you are the future of this organization. Be sure to review the candidates’ bios and platform statements, and vote for the candidates that you feel best represent your interests. This is your professional association and the Board strives to fulfill AIChE’s mission while ensuring its growth.
This year we have added a “one-click” feature for those who vote online. This feature eliminates having to enter your last name and membership number to login to vote, making it less time consuming, so you can get back to your busy lives. Look for this feature in upcoming emails and then just click and you’ll reach the election ballot where you can select the candidates you wish to be on the Board.

Important Dates
The election for the 2017 Board of Directors begins on September 6. All votes must be received by October 10, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. EDT to be valid. You will soon receive your ballot in the mail. Perhaps you prefer to vote online. You can do so at www.aiche.societyelection.com. To be eligible to vote, you must be an active member and have paid your dues for 2016. It should be noted that AIChE has campaign guidelines for the candidates running for the Board of Directors. Members should become familiar with these guidelines.
