Joe Hannon

Joe Hannon is Managing Director of Scale-up Systems Limited, owners and developers of Dynochem software and President of Scale-up Systems Inc. Joe is a chemical engineer and graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland in 1987. He worked first for BHR Group Limited (FMP) in the UK, carrying out laboratory research & development and scale-up work on behalf of a consortium of companies including Dow Chemicals, ICI and DuPont. He obtained his PhD on CFD simulation and prediction of chemical reactions from Cranfield University (UK) in 1992. In 1994 he started Scale-up Systems as a consulting and software development company and since 1999, their focus has been on the batch industries, especially pharmaceutical API. The company now supports 15 of the top 15 pharmaceutical companies and more than 120 innovator, generic, CMO and CRO companies worldwide. Joe  sits on the Executive Board with Steve Hearn and is involved in general management, business development and customer training.
