Particles flows represent a considerable large family of relevant engineering problems where several scales and phases may be involved. One important tool in understanding the physical behavior of the system and in the solution to the important flow fields is the use of computational methodologies and economical strategies suitable for the different applications. In this session, we would like to receive contributions in the general topics of computational approaches that solve or address problems at all scales with particular interest at pilot and industrial scales. In particular, efficient and innovative techniques to solve particle flow. Both CFD and DEM approaches are invited. Validation of modeling results are of interest.
